Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a coaxial smoking filter with a tow and a web filter material arranged coaxially in detail concerning the coaxial smoking filter. CONSTITUTION: One of the filter materials is a fiber tow such as a fibrous cellulose acetate tow and the other filter materials is a web material such as paper in the coaxial smoking filter. In a cigarette 10, the cigarette bar body 11 is wrapped by a normal wrapping material 13 and the filter 12 is wrapped by a normal foot 14. The filter 12 includes a cellulose acetate tow surrounding layer 20 and a center paper core 21, and the paper core is a paper web waveformed, focused cylindrically and wrapped with a plug wrapping paper.
