Abstract: The lamp has an elongated bulb (1) closed at one end and with a vacuum tight compression (3) at the other, at least one incandescent element (4,5) in the bulb, a base (9) joined to the compression, current leads (6-8) leading through the compression to the incandescent element and an annular optical absorption filter (13) mounted at the closed end of the bulb.
