Abstract: Plasma screen consists of a front plate (1) with a glass plate (3), a dielectric layer (4) and a protective layer (5); a support plate (2) having a phosphor layer (10) containing a red, blue and green Tb -activated phosphor; a ribbed structure (13) dividing the chamber between the front plate and the support plate into plasma cells filled with a gas; electrode arrays (6,7,11) on the front plate and the support plate for producing quiet electrical discharges in the cells; and a green colored filter layer (8). Preferred Features: The green colored filter layer contains copper phthalocyanine or a derivative of it. An additional red or blue colored filter layer is arranged opposite the regions of the phosphor layer.
