Abstract: The tube (2) has a protective casing (1) with a heating convertor connected to the cathode (3). The transformer has two primary coils (14,16) and two secondary coils (15,17) in a coaxial arrangement. Preferably both sets of coils are wound on a support (10) constituted by the high-voltage connection (10), or on the neck (5) of the tube itself. The tube provides compensation for disturbances of the tube and for stray field losses from the heating transformer.

Abstract: The power supply stage is used to supply the X-ray tube (4) via a HV transformer (3) with 2 groups of primary and secondary windings (16, 31; 26, 32) which are wound on the same transformer core. The coupling factor between the primary windings (16, 26) of the different winding groups is less than the coupling factor between the primary and secondary windings of the same winding group. Each of the primary windings is coupled to a respective current regulator (1, 2) with a fixed operating frequency and an individually regulated pulse ratio, providing overlapping voltage pulses.

Abstract: The X-ray arrangement includes an X-ray tube (12) and devices (15, 22, 23) for controlling the electron current flowing through the X-ray tube. The X-ray arrangement comprises a piezo-electric transformer (21, 24, 25) for producing a control voltage for the devices. The devices comprise a mesh (15) for the control of the tube current or an arrangement (22, 23) for the diversion of the electrons emitted by the cathode (13) of the X-ray tube. The piezo-electric transformer is preferably arranged in the tube casing (20).
