    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regeneration method of a cathode luminescent screen having at least one anode to be excited by electron radiation with a line scanning. SOLUTION: Regeneration phases are provided to anodes within a time when the anodes are at a quiescent potential and addresses are instructed to a line only whose one part is to be scanned in respective reproduction phases and a cathode is biased in a state of corresponding to that of a preceding picture.
