Abstract:
The described techniques provide for the identification and utilization of different power consumption categories by a user equipment (UE) in wireless communications system. A power consumption category may correspond to a power consumption level (e.g., a powered circuitry configuration) of the UE. For example, a power consumption category may configure an analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) resolution, a digital-to-analog conversion (DAC) resolution, a number of antennas, etc., that a UE may employ for communications. In some examples, a UE may report capability information to a base station, and the base station may use the information to explicitly or implicitly (e.g., via conveying thresholds or conditions to the UE for power consumption category switching or power consumption category selection) configure the UE with various power consumption categories. As such, the power consumption categories may be used by the base station and UE, in some scenarios, for reducing power consumption.
Abstract:
A method for facilitating wireless testing and programming of wireless devices in a manufacturing environment; comprising: establishing communication between at least one control unit and at least one wireless device of a plurality of wireless devices; retrieving a before event last known location of the at least one wireless device, when an event disrupting a device process flow is over; comparing the before event last known location of the at least one wireless device with an after event location of the at least one wireless device; returning the at least one wireless device to the before event last known location if there is a difference between the before event last known location and the after event location as a result of the comparing; determining whether the at least one wireless device has successfully completed testing and programming at the before event last know location; and facilitating testing and programming of the at least one wireless device, if the at least one wireless device has not successfully completed the testing and programming as well as a corresponding manufacturing system.
Abstract:
A radiotelephone comprises both a Mobile Station Modem, a Bluetooth radio frequency unit, an interface between them and other supporting hardware/software, allowing utilization by a subscriber to implement a truly Universal remote control device An embodiment of the present invention includes an interface for connecting a mobile station modem to a radio frequency unit equipped for transmitting and receiving a frequency hopped signal, a serial bus interface operably connected between the Mobile Station Modem and the Bluetooth radio frequency unit including a plurality of bi-directional serial data connections. The preferred embodiment further includes a bi-directional serial data connection for transmitting data for transmission connected between the Mobile Station Modem and the Bluetooth radio frequency unit and a synchronous detector and transmit enabling serial data connection for receiving an enabling indication valid data at said radio frequency unit from the Mobile Station Modem.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for transmitting, from a user equipment (UE) to a base station, a report indicating a beamforming capability of the UE, receiving, from a base station, a configuration for a plurality of control resource sets (CORESETs) based at least in part on the report, selecting multiple CORESETs of the plurality of CORESETs, and monitoring the selected multiple CORESETs during a monitoring occasion. In some examples, the UE may also monitor one or more unselected CORESETs that have a quasi co-location relationship with one of the selected CORESETs.
Abstract:
A passive switched-capacitor (PSC) filter (200) includes (i) an array of capacitors (224, 234, 244) and (ii) an array of switches (232, 242) that can couple the capacitors to a summing node (A). Each switch (232, 242) couples an associated capacitor (224, 234, 244) to the summing node (A) when enabled. Each capacitor (224, 234, 244) stores a voltage value from the summing node (A) when selected for charging and shares electrical charge with other capacitors (224, 234, 244) via the summing node (A) when selected for charge sharing. The PSC filter (200) may include multiple sections (220, 230, 240) for multiple filter taps having one or more capacitors (224, 234a, 234b, 242a, 242b, 242c) of equal size determined based on a corresponding filter coefficient. The capacitors in each section may be sequentially selected for charging or sharing electrical charge.
