Abstract:
Apparatus and methods include receiving one or more first signals at a user equipment (UE) during a first portion of a transmission time interval (TTI), wherein the one or more first signals are transmitted by a network to the UE using a transport format; determining the transport format upon receiving the one or more first signals and prior to a second portion of the TTI subsequent to the first portion of the TTI; and receiving one or more second signals at the UE during a second portion of the TTI.
Abstract:
The various embodiments include a dual-SIM-dual-active (DSDA) device and methods for implementing robust receive (Rx) processing to resolve radio frequency coexistence interference between two subscriptions operating on the DSDA device. The DSDA device may detect when a subscription (the "aggressor") de-senses the other subscription (the "victim") as a result of the aggressor's transmissions, and in response, implement robust Rx processing to mitigate the effects of de-sense on the victim while causing minimal impact to the aggressor.
Abstract:
Techniques for uplink transmit power command (ULTPC) rejection threshold optimization in WCDMA for power control algorithm 2 (PCA2) are described. Uplink transmit power control commands may be received on a five-slot interval. The uplink transmit power control commands may be decoded for each of the five slots. The decoded uplink transmit power control commands may be compared for each of the five slots to a threshold. The threshold may he optimized to minimize overall transmit power control decision error. A bit decision may be made for each of the five slots based on the comparison and an overall transmit power control command may be determined based on the bit decision for each of the five slots over the five-slot interval.
Abstract:
Aspects of the method and apparatuses relate to performing user equipment (UE) only discontinuous transmission (DTX) smart blanking. One aspect of the method and apparatuses includes maintaining a list of voice configurations that would trigger user equipment (UE) discontinuous transmission (DTX). Further, the aspect includes receiving a current voice configuration for the UE from a network, and determining whether the current voice configuration of the UE received from the network fails within the list of voice configurations that would trigger UB DTX. Further, the aspect includes enabling uplink UE DTX at the UE when the current voice configuration of a UB falls within the list of voice configurations.

The various embodiments include a dual-SIM-dual-active (DSDA)device and methods for implementing robust transmit (Tx) processing to resolve radio frequency coexistence interference between two subscriptions operating on the DSDA device. The DSDA device may detect when one subscription (the "aggressor") de-senses the other subscription (the "victim") as a result of the aggressor's transmissions, and in response, implement robust Tx processing to mitigate the effects of de-sense on the victim.
