PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual marketplace for wireless device applications and services with integrated multi-party settlement.SOLUTION: A virtual marketplace is hosted by a computer device on a wireless network, which can be a billing server, and lists one or more applications or services that are accessible by carriers and end users on wireless devices. Upon receiving a selection from a carrier or end user for interaction with at least one of the applications, the billing server generates a bill for that end-user interaction. The billing server can then collect the proceeds from the carrier or the end user through electronic payment or other methods, and distribute a portion of the proceeds to an appropriate application developer for the carrier end-user interactions with that developer's applications.

SOLUTION: A wireless client device 300 generates and transmits a billing request to the billing system 106. The billing system 106 generates a validation response to the billing request and transmits the validation response to the client device 300. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for setting prices of applications and content and distributing them to a wireless client device.SOLUTION: A first group is formed by associating at least one item from a main catalog with a first subscriber ID (SID) associated with a first client device. By generating a shopping catalog for the first client device from the main catalog based on at least one of a platform ID, a run-time API, and a language, the first group can be included in the shopping catalog based on the first SID associated with the first client device, so that price setting for the same item can be differentiated between the first group and the main catalog.

El administrador de descarga reside en la plataforma de computo y permite la descarga, almacenamiento y ejecucion de aplicaciones que no cumple de otra forma con el protocolo de seguridad del entorno de aplicacion residente.
