Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for controlling data transmission in a wireless communication system on the basis of hybrid automatic retransmission (HARQ).SOLUTION: User equipment (UE) determines the number (Z) of HARQ processes supported by the UE, e.g., on the basis of the amount of resources available at the UE. The UE sends information indicative of the number of HARQ processes supported by the UE to a Node B. The UE thereafter receives information from the Node B on up to Z HARQ processes. For example, the UE receives data for non-guaranteed bit rate (non-GBR) traffic on up to Z HARQ processes, and receives data for guaranteed bit rate (GBR) traffic on up to all HARQ processes available in the system.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission entity (e.g., user equipment (UE)) which reduces segmentation of Radio Link Control (RLC) Service Data Units (SDUs) while minimizing padding.SOLUTION: Signaling or provisioning of a constraint value such as a maximum padding amount or minimum segmentation size is employed in a determinative way in the UE. A receiving entity (e.g., evolved base node (eNB)) benefits from being able to signal these parameters, whose application to RLC instances can discriminate between a data radio bearer and a signaling radio bearer. Compliance can also be voluntary, such as a network entity employing at least a portion of the same approach on a downlink.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change UE configurations in order to execute a handover in a wireless communication system.SOLUTION: A handover is initiated via a measurement report transmitted to a source eNB from UE. The measurement report comprises one or more of current radio conditions, a current UE configuration or a preferred target eNB if the handover is an inter eNB handover. The current UE configuration is forwarded to the preferred target eNB by the source eNB. The target eNB generates a delta configuration that details changes required in the current configuration in order to execute the handover, and transmits it to the source eNB in a transparent container which is forwarded to the UE. The delta configuration is transmitted to the UE requesting the handover.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems and methodologies that facilitate operating an access terminal in LTE based wireless communication utilizing extended microsleep.SOLUTION: While in non-DRX mode, an access terminal operates in an ON state for a first period of time and in an extended microsleep state for a second period of time. Further, the first and second periods of time form a repeating pattern where these periods of time alternate. Thus, the access terminal turns on its receiver (RX) for the first period of time (e.g., decodes downlink information while in the ON state) and turns off its receiver (RX) for the second period of time (e.g., inhibits decoding of downlink information while in the extended microsleep state). Further, the first period of time in the repeating pattern can be one TTI (e.g., 1 ms), and the second period of time in the repeating pattern can be a plurality of TTIs (e.g., 5 ms).

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems and methods for addressing de-synchronization of the cryptsync between a network and mobile stations (eNB) that can occur at mobility.SOLUTION: De-synchronization is resolved by forwarding HFN and PDCP sequence number (s) from a source eNB to a target eNB. In order to avoid re-use of a crytosync for a given key, a backward offset from an initial count value is used by the target eNB. These approaches do not require an over-the-air signaling and count value handling in the network is transparent to a mobile station.

Abstract: APERFEIÇAOMENTOS DE BAIXA LATÊNCIA PARA UMA REDE SEM FIO.

Abstract: INDICAÇÃO DE DADOS PARA TRANSMISSÃO POR IDENTIFICADOR DE TRÁFEGO.
