Abstract: An apparatus for removing dust particles from high density information record in which wear on both the record groove and the dust particle removing apparatus is provided with cover brush. The demensions of an information track contained in a groove in the storage medium vary in accordance with recorded information. The cover brushs are provided for lightly contacting the record groove surface to dislodge the dust particles without sweeping them off.
