Abstract: An adjustable yoke mount for a deflection yoke of the type including a funnel shaped insulator having a large annular insulator flange at the front or screen end of the yoke and smaller insulator flange at the opposite or back end is provided by mounting the front end of the yoke to the flared portion of the in-line beam picture tube to pivot about a point near the front end of said yoke. The opposite or back end of the yoke is adjustably mounted in the plane generally orthogonal to the tube axis to tilt the yoke about the pivot point when adjusting for convergence.

Abstract: DEFLECTION YOKE WITH NON-RADIAL CONDUCTORS of the Invention A deflection yoke includes a core having front and rear grooved end caps for securing conductor turns at the front and rear of the yoke. A third set of conductor grooves is disposed on the inside of the core at a position between the front and rear end caps for securing conductor turns at that position for forming precision-disposed non-radial active turns. The coils formed by the conductor turns may be toroidal or saddle, depending on the return conductor disposition.
