Abstract: The present invention regards a composite laminate skin comprising a plurality of fiber reinforced plastic plies (7) stacked onto each other, the laminate skin (3) comprises a plurality of fastening apertures (9), each of which extending entirely or partly through the laminate skin (3) in a direction essentially orthogonally or orthogonally to the plane (P) of the laminate skin (3), each fastening aperture (9) being adapted for encompassing a respective fastening element (11). The fastening aperture (9) extends through a tailored stack (14) of at least two inserts (13) for taking up clamp forces in edge areas surrounding the fastening apertures so that the laminate skin can be made thinner. The invention also regards a method for manufacture of the laminate skin.
