Abstract:
An apparatus (20) for treatment of process vapours coming from a vacuum concentration section (10) of a urea plant, comprising a vacuum system (11) having a plurality of successive condensation stages (30), connected in series by respective line portions (31) and crossed in series by process vapours to be treated; the apparatus (20) has at least one primary steam condensate inlet (50) for feeding steam condensate to the vacuum system (11) and positioned, with reference to a circulation direction of the process vapours in the vacuum system (11), upstream of at least one selected condensation stage (30), or in at least one selected condensation stage (30).
Abstract:
A system (2) for analysis of vent gas of a urea plant (1), comprising: a Raman spectroscope (22); a sampling conduit (24) that connects the spectroscope (22) to a main pipe (20) of the urea plant (1) for conveying a sample stream (25) to be analysed to the spectroscope (22); and a temperature-adjusting device (26), operated by a temperature controller (27) and acting on at least one thermal treatment portion (28) of the conduit (24) for adjusting the temperature of the sample stream (25) circulating in the conduit (24).
Abstract:
A system for analysis of vent gas of a urea plant, comprising: a Raman spectroscope; a sampling conduit that connects the spectroscope to a main pipe of the urea plant configured to convey a sample stream to be analysed to the spectroscope; and a temperature-adjusting device, operated by a temperature controller and acting on at least one thermal treatment portion of the conduit configured to adjust the temperature of the sample stream circulating in the conduit.
