Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a nip press belt free from damaging water carrying capacity capable of enduring pressures in use by installing multiple adjacent upright ribs on the opposite side of the flat surface of an impermeable sheet-like body and burying reinforcing yarns at a specific position. CONSTITUTION: This nip press belt installs multiple upright ribs 12 extending to the machine direction on the opposite side 13 of the flat surface 14 of the impermeable sheet-like body 11. The reinforcing yarns 16 installed in each ribs are at least partly buried in the ribs.
