Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Jacquard mechanism controlled by solenoid which can bring about more reliable actions with a mechanical constitution more simplified. SOLUTION: This Jacquard loom mechanism has a plurality of solenoids which are individually provided with a plurality of hooks mobile between the first position and the second position and operable to selectively connect through a single or plural other members to the warp, a plurality of blades 13a,..., 13h movable along a certain route and plungers operated so as to directly engage with the hooks. The motion of the plungers brings about the movement of the relating hooks to the second position to avoid the hooks from connecting to the blades 13a,..., 13h, while the hooks move along the above-described route.
