Abstract: The present invention provides an improved seaming arrangement of a papermakers fabric, in that the breakage of one loop will not affect the rest of the seam. The present invention relates to a papermakers fabric (10) made endless by interdigitating the loop formations (11) of seaming bodies (12, 13). The seaming bodies are provided at the free ends of the fabric (10) and a pintle wire (14) is inserted into the tunnel formed by and between the loops (11). This solves the problem of unravelling of the fabric in the past, due to one of the loops breaking resulting in fabric failure.
