Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical composition containing oncogene necrosis factor(ONF) and effective for improving the primary and secondary immune response to a natural or synthetic antigen in the living body. CONSTITUTION: This composition contains 0.013pg/kg to 8μg/kg of ONF which is a protein produced or released in outer environment as a result of activation of a monocytic macrophage-type cell caused by a bacterial lipopolysaccharide. The composition is administered simultaneously with or separately from the administration of an antigen by intravenous administration, intraperitoneal administration or intramuscular administration to increase the primary and secondary immune response to the antigen.
