    Abstract: An efficient multiple-wavelength light emitting device is provided. This multiple-wavelength light emitting device comprises a light emitting layer (4) for emitting light containing wavelength components to be output, a negative electrode (5) that is positioned at the back surface of the light emitting layer and that transmits at least a portion of the light, reflecting layers (7R, 7G, and 7B), positioned at the back surface of the negative electrode, for reflecting, of the light emitted through the negative electrode to the back surface, light having specific wavelengths, which reflecting layers are stacked up in order perpendicularly to the light axis, in correspondence with the wavelengths of the light to be reflected, thus configuring a reflecting layer group (7). In the direction perpendicular to the light axis, divisions are made in any of at least two or more light emission regions which reflect light of different wavelengths. In each light emission region, the distance between the reflecting surface of the reflecting layer (7) on the semi-transparent side and the reflecting surface in the semi-reflecting layer (2) is adjusted in this configuration so that it becomes a resonating optical path length for the light that is emitted in the light emission region.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrochemical cell and a method of manufacturing the same. The electrochemical cell comprises a first conductive layer; a metal oxide layer formed on the first conductive layer, the metal oxide layer comprising a plurality of adjacent metal oxide cells, spaced from one another; a functional dye layer formed on the metal oxide layer; a second conductive layer; and an electrolyte between the functional dye layer and the second conductive layer; wherein at least one of the first and second conductive layers is transparent.     Abstract: Provided is a substrate manufacturing technique for forming patterns on substrates with the aid of an ink-jet systems. Relates to a substrate manufacturing apparatus for forming arbitrary patterns on a substrate 1 from a fluid 11.     Abstract: An information recording method for recording desired information, wherein a control circuit (150) identifies a characteristic of light corresponding to information to be recorded, in accordance with table data stored in a table memory (151), indicating a corresponding relationship between the information to be recorded and the wavelength of the light and selects a light emitting material which emits the identified characteristic of the light in response to energy (electricity or light) supplied thereto, and a recording head (110) forms a light emitting element by supplying the light emitting material on a substrate (10) of a recording medium. Furthermore, energy is supplied to the recording medium on which the information is written so that the light emitting material emits light, the characteristic of the light is identified and the information is reproduced in accordance with the identified characteristic. The security of the information is enhanced with a new and easy method of information recording.
