Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an electronic device for automatic conversion of a sampling frequency of a type adapted to convert a specified frequency of a sampled input signal into a desired frequency of an output signal. CONSTITUTION: A phase detector 2 in which both of an input frequency CKIN and an output frequency CKOUT are inputted is provided and a decoder block 3 is provided in relation to the phase detector to determine an interpolation coefficient. An interpolation filter 15 which is provided with a digital input terminal 4 to encode a sampling signal, to receive the input frequency at one side, to receive a digital signal from the block 3 and to supply an output representing the interpolation coefficient at the other side is provided. A synchronizer 20 is provided by being connected at a rear of the filter, in which both of the input frequency and the output frequency are inputted and which is provided with a digital output 18 to encode the converted sampling signal.
