Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of analytical accuracy or reliability by measuring the optical density of circulating water by an optical system and controlling the change-over means of a drain pipe and a water introducing pipe so as to replace the constant temp. water in a thermostatic water tank on the basis of the measured value. CONSTITUTION:Simultaneously with the starting of analysis, a control part 15 changes over an optical system consisting of a light source 9 and a light detecting part 10 to a light path (b). By this method, the absorbancy A of circulating water is measured through the light previous window 13 of a water circulating flow path 8 and this detection output is monitored by the control part 15 to be compared with predetermined absorbancy B (the tolerant degree of the contamination of circulating water). In the case of absorbancy A>=B, it is judged that the circulating water is improper because of contamination and a change-over means 14 is changed over to a drain pipe 5 to discharge all of the water in a thermostatic water tank 3 and the water in the flow path 8. Subsequently, the change-over means 14 is returned to the flow path 8 and a change-over means 14' is changed over to the water introducing pipe 4 to introduce clean water from the outside. After the water tank 3 and the flow path 8 are filled with the clean water, the change-over means 14' is changed over to the flow path 8. Next, the optical system is changed over to an optical path (a) and the absorbancy of the reaction solution in a reaction container 2 is measured.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To stop an object to be rotated with satisfactory position accuracy by controlling a step motor when the rising of a sensor is detected and after that, the excitation pattern of this motor is coincident with a set excitation pattern. CONSTITUTION:A disk 6 is rotated and after a pulse signal outputted from an optical sensor 7 is turned on, the excitation pattern of three input pulses is displayed on the CRT of a control part 9. According to this display, an operators sets the excitation pattern by a digital switch 10. For this setting of the excitation pattern, a 1-2 phase excitation system is adopted and a relation between the turning-on period of the optical sensor 7 and the input pulse is selected at a measure that the eight input pulses are put in during one turning-on period. The control part 9 detects that the output of the optical sensor 7 corresponding to a position, in which the body is desired to be stored, rises to the turning-on. After that, when the excitation pattern of a motor 5 is coincident with the prescribed excitation pattern, the motor 5 is stopped in that position. Thus, even when the detected pulse is deviated by one pulse or so, the motor can be correctly stopped.

CONSTITUTION:The rack installation yard 1 housing racks R inserted with specimen cups and the stock yard housing the racks R after the end of inspection are connected by the belt conveyor 2 for conveyance and the circulative path is constituted of reinspection belt conveyors 3A, 3B, 3C. The analysis instruments 5, 6 of different kinds are installed at the mid-point of the conveyor 2. Stoppers 7, 8 are provided before the analysis instruments 5, 6. The rack R contg. the specimen having the item of which the analysis value exceeds a measurable range in the analysis and inspection with the analysis instrument 5 or 6 is fed to the reinspection conveyor 4 via transfer rollers 4 by operating a direction change mechanism 9 by the signal from said analysis instrument.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the execution of a multinominal biochemical analysis by the sue of the samples in capillaries by constituting the titled instrument of a capillary holder, diluting vessel, diluting and dispensing device, etc. CONSTITUTION:This automatic analyzer 1 is constituted of a multinominal analysis line, sample cup 10, a turn table 9 provided with a diluting cup 11 arranged oppositely thereto, a capillary sampling part 5 provided with a capillary holder 7 and diluting vessel 6, a rotary type diluting and dispensing device 8, etc. A suction and discharge nozzle 91 is disposed and lowered onto the fixing position of the capillary 16 and the top end thereof is inserted into the capillary 16 to such the serum sample therein when the multinomical biochemical analysis is to be executed by using the capillary sampling line. The sample is then discharged together with diluting liquid into the vessel 6 by the upward movement of the nozzle 91, by which the diluted sample it set. A prescribed volume of the diluted sample in the vessel 6 is sucked, after the cleaning of the nozzle 91, and is discharged and supplied into an introducing port 4 of the analysis line, by which the analysis of the specific item is executed. The analysis of many items is thus executed with the capillary drawn samples by repeating the cleaning, sucking and discharging in the above-mentioned manner.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten the waiting time by prepn. prior to an analysis by providing a control section and clock circuit as well as a power supply start circuit and power supply for back-up, etc. CONSTITUTION:The clock circuit and the power supply start circuit 6 are kept operated at all times by the power supply 8 for back-up even at a cessation of the analysis apparatus. A power supply 4 for the apparatus is turned on through the power supply start circuit 6 by the signal from the clock circuit upon coming of the preset time for power supply start. The operation of the control section 2 is thereby started as well. The control section 2 executes blank measurement of water according to a set program when the apparatus is ready to start the analysis. The control section stands by thereafter, before an operator instructs the next operation. The apparatus is, therefore, already ready to make analysis in the state of ending the blank measurement of the water at the time when the operator is going to start operating the apparatus. Namely, the control section executes the work of the contents set in such a manner that the analysis apparatus makes analysis automatically upon starting of the power supply when the power supply 4 is turned on.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform highly reliable sampling by reducing a specimen sampling mistake due to the suction of air, by immersing the opening part of a liquid specimen sampling suction nozzle in the liquid specimen in a capillary liquid specimen container. CONSTITUTION:A first stepping motor 13 is operated to rotate a pinion 12 and a rack 10 is moved downwardly. By this method, a specimen suction nozzle 7 is inserted in a capillary specimen container 1 through the guide hole 26 of a holder 4. At this time, the part where the leading end 24 of the nozzle 7 is immersed in a specimen solution 25 up to a definite depth is detected by the position detection sensor mounted in the motor 13 and the detection signal thereof is sent to a second stepping motor 21 through a signal wire 23 to operate a motor 21. A pinion 20 is rotated by the operation of the motor 21 to move a rack 18 to a 19'-side. In parallel to this operation, the plunger 17 of a pipetter 16 is moved to a suction side to start the suction from the nozzle 7. The nozzle 7 falls in the container 1 while sucks the solution 25. By this method, a specimen sampling mistake due to the suction of air is reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable continuous operation by connecting a primary container which is provided with a suction port and whose pressure is reduced at all times and a secondary container which is provided and opening/closing valve which enables to change over into a lower pressure than the primary container and atmospheric pressure of more in series via a valve. CONSTITUTION:A tube 8 provided with a suction nozzle 10 is connected with a primary pressure-reducing bottle 2 which is vacuum-suctioned and whose pressure is reduced at all times via an opening/closing valve Va to such liquid of a reaction tube 12. The primary pressure-reducing bottle 2 is connected with a secondary pressure-reducting bottle 4 via an opening/closing valve Vd from the bottom of the primary pressure-reducing bottle 2. The secondary pressure-reducing bottle 4 discharges liquid in the reaction tube 12 toward outside via an opening/closing valve Vb. The secondary pressure-reducing bottle 4 is connected with a three-way valve Vc which changes over into vacuum suction and atmospheric pressure or pressurization by means of a tube 5. Usually, the opening/closing valves Va, Vd are opened, the opening/closing valve Vb is closed, and the pressure-reducing bottles 2, 4 are operated in a vacuum to such liquid in the reaction tube 12. When liquid is discharged from the pressure-reducing bottle 4, the opening/closing valve Vd is closed, the valve Vb is opened, and the three-way valve Vc is changed over into pressurization condition. Consequently, liquid is discharged while liquid in the reaction tube 12 is continuously suctioned without interruption.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve analyzing accuracy, by discharging a specified amount of a sample so that the attaching amount on a container wall is suppressed to the minimum value, discharging a specified amount of diluting liquid at a high speed from a place higher than the sample discharging position, and diluting and regulating the sample to a specified concentration. CONSTITUTION:A path from a pure water well 7 to a nozzle 22 is filled with pure water by a switching driving of a diluter driving part 42 and a three-way solenoid valve 6. Then a specified amount of a sample is sucked through the nozzle 22 from a sample container on a sample line 31 on a turntable 3. Then, a sampler arm 21 is turned, and the nozzle 22 is set over a specified diluting container on a diluting line 32 on the table 3. Thereafter, a rack pinion 26 is driven. The tip of the nozzle 22 is stopped at a position in the vicinity of the bottom of the diluting container. The sucked sample is quietly discharged. When the discharge of the sample is finished, the pinion 26 is driven, and the nozzle is lifted. a specified amount of pure water is discharged at a high speed from a position higher than the position at the time of the sample discharge under this state. Since the sample is diluted into a specified concentration by the force of the discharging of pure water, the accuracy of analysis is improved.
