Abstract: A photosensitive composition remover used for removal of an uncured photosensitive composition, which remover comprises 1 to 80 percent by mass of at least one type of aromatic hydrocarbon having 9 carbon atoms or more within the molecule. The photosensitive composition remover further comprises an aprotic polar solvent and/or another solvent other than aprotic polar solvents. The photosensitive composition remover is effective for removal of an uncured photosensitive composition film deposited at the periphery, edges, or back of a substrate or removal of an uncured photosensitive composition deposited at the surface of system members or equipment in a process for forming a photosensitive composition film on a glass substrate, a semiconductor wafer, or the like. It is preferably used for removal of a photosensitive composition containing a pigment in a process for forming a photosensitive composition film on a substrate in the process of production of a liquid crystal or an organic EL display.

SOLUTION: A removal liquid used for removing an unhardened photosensitive composition contains 1-80% by mass of an aromatic hydrocarbon having 9 or more carbons of at least one kind. The photosensitive composition removal liquid also contains a non-protonic polar solvent and/or a solvent other than a non-protonic polar solvent. The photosensitive composition removal liquid is particularly suitable for removing a photosensitive composition containing a pigment.

The cross-linking resin composition comprises (a) a multiple copolymer comprising ethylene, a free radical-copolymerizable acid anhydride and one or more kinds of other free radical-copolymerizable copolymers in such an amount that units originating from the free radical-polymerizable acid anhydride groups in the multicomponent copolymer is 0.1-20wt.%, (b) a polyhydric alcohol compound in such an amount that the molar ratio of the hydroxyl group units in the polybasic alcohol compound of the component (b) to the units originating from the free radical- polymerizable acid anhydride in the component (a) is 0.01-10, and (b) a reaction- accelerating agent in an amount of 0.001-20 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the ethylenic copolymer.
