Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a recyclable chlorinated polyolefinic rubber composition having excellent mechanical strengths, flexibility and calendering and proper magnetic properties, by blending a chlorinated polyolefin with specific magnetic powder and an epoxy compound. CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a chlorinated polyolefin (preferably a chlorinated polyethylene or a chlorinated ethylene- propylene copolymer), (B) 100-600 pts.wt. of a mercapto-based silane coupling agent (e.g. γ-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane), (C) 1-10 pts.wt. of an epoxy compound (preferably an epoxidized vegetable oil) and (D) 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a high molecular-weight hindered phenol compound (preferably a bis[2-methyl-4- 3-n- alkylthiopropionyloxy}-5-t-butylphenyl] sulfide) wherein an n-alkyl is 12-14C.

PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition which is excellent in adherence to a substrate fabric and in fusion of laminae to each other. CONSTITUTION:This composition comprises 40-95 pts.wt. crystalline chlorinated polyolefin (A) having a heat of crystal fusion as measured by DSC of 5-20cal/g, 60-5 pts.wt. ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer (B) having a vinyl acetate content of 15-30wt.% and a melt flow rate of 1-7g/10min, and 20-150 pts.wt. calcium carbonate having an average particle diameter of 0.2-3mum and treated with a titanium coupling agent, provided that the sum of (A) and (B) is 100 pts.wt.

CONSTITUTION:A cross-inked rubber composition consisting essentially of chlorinated polyethylene composed of (A) 100 pts.wt. chlorinated polyethylene, (B) 10-150 pts.wt. clay, having 0.1-1.0mum average particle diameter and treated with a mercapto-based silane coupling agent, (C) 0.5-20 pts.wt. organic peroxide and (D) 0.1-10 pts.wt. polyfunctional compound.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial deodorizing elastomer composition capable of preventing skin troubles and unpleasant smells caused by reproduction of bacteria in a wet and nearly hermetic environment and maintaining the effects, and a molded product. SOLUTION: The elastomer composition comprises an elastomer substrate having properties (1)-(3): (1) a melt flow rate of 0.01-150 g/10 min; (2) a crystalline heat of fusion by the DSC method of at most 100 J/g; and (3) a JIS-A hardness of 20-90, an antibacterial compound and/or a natural material containing the antibacterial compound and, at request, a deodorizing compound and/or a natural material containing the deodorizing compound, and contains no plasticizer. SOLUTION: This crosslinkable resin composition is obtained by compounding 100 pts.wt. of a resin component composed of (A) 20-80 wt.% of a chlorinated polyolefin and (B) 80-20 wt.% of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer produced using a single-site catalyst with (C) 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a crosslinking agent and (D) 0.3-20 pts.wt. of a stabilizer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin sheet which is excellent in mechanical strength and electrical characteristics, and particularly suitable for use as an insulating material against high-voltage. SOLUTION: This resin sheet is provided by molding a composition comprising 100 pts.wt. of a resin component composed of 50 to 90wt.% of (A) a chlorinated polyolefin having a chlorine content of 20 to 50wt.% and 50 to 10wt.% of (B) a polyolefin resin, 5 to 40 pts.wt. of (C) a halogen-containing organic compound, and 3 to 30 pts.wt. of (D) antimony oxide, wherein 50 to 100wt.% of component (A) is a chlorinated polyolefin having an weight average molecular weight of 300,000 or more and a heat of fusion of crystal of 3kcal/g or less, and 50 to 100wt.% of component (B) is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having a content of vinyl acetate of 10 to 35wt.% or an ethylene-acrylate copolymer having a content of the acrylate of 10 to 35wt.%.
