Abstract: "ELECTRICAL CONTACT" In an electrical contact comprising an intermediate layer (2), applied to a carrier (1), and an outer layer (3) applied to the intermediate layer, in order to provide a contact with which very low to high electrical loads can be switched, the intermediate layer (2) consists of a highly abrasion-resistant contact material (e.g. a silver-palladium alloy), and the outer layer (3) consists of a non-corroding, hard and electrically highly conductive contact material (e.g. hard gold) having a relatively small thickness.
