    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a battery charger which can control a current power supply accurately. CONSTITUTION: This battery charger comprises a current power supply 1 whose output current can be variably set, load current sensors 31 which detect load currents applied to respective electronic loads 37 which are individually connected to a plurality of batteries 34 connected in series to each other so as to have a current from the current power supply 1 supplied to the respective batteries in parallel respectively, and a current setting means 2 which generates a digital setting signal which sets the output current of the current power supply variably so as to be reduced when it is detected that a load current exceeding a predetermined current is applied to any one of the electronics load 37 and transmits the digital setting signal to the current power supply 1.

CONSTITUTION:A battery charging device charges power from a current source 1 to a battery 4. A variable resistance 7 is provided in parallel with the battery 4, and a current voltage value of the battery 4 is detected by a cell voltage detection part 8. The current voltage value is compared with a set voltage value at a comparator part 9, and in accordance with result of this comparison, a resistance value of the variable resistance 7 is controlled in such a way that a current from the current source 1 is separated on the battery 4 side and on the variable resistance 7 side as charging of the battery 4 goes on.

CONSTITUTION:A motor base 13 loading a head driving pulse motor 9 is semi- fixed on a chassis 5, and the motor base 13 is constituted so as to be slidable/ adjustable and simultaneously a bit driving pulse motor 26 rotating and driving an eccentric bit 25 having an eccentric cam 23 engaged with the motor base 13 is provided. Then, the bit driving pulse motor 26 is rotated by a control circuit 30 rotating and controlling based on an output signal from a magnetic head 3 and the motor base 13 is slided and adjusted on the chassis 5 by a prying action with the eccentric cam 24 of the eccentric bit 25.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always inspect the conformity or nonconformity of a battery as a proper product under a simple configuration and at low cost by detachably mounting a temperature sensor on the contact pin of a pin jig kept in contact with a battery for causing the charge and discharge thereof, or inserting the sensor in the pin. SOLUTION: The contact pins 4 and 5 of pin jigs 2 and 3 are brought into contact with the positive and negative electrodes of many batteries 1 housed in a tray 14, and connected to a power supply or load part 6, thereby charging and discharging the batteries 1. Also, temperature sensors 16 such as thermisters having leads 18 are mounted on the contact pins 4. The temperature sensor 16 is detachably mounted on each contact pin 4 via a spring member 17, or may be inserted therein for keeping the end in contact with the contact pin 4. According to this construction, the temperature of the batteries 1 is detected at a charging and discharging process, and temperature information is transmitted to a failure detection device via the leads 18 through the pin jig 2 and the power supply part 6, thereby detecting the conformity or nonconformity of the batteries 1.
