    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable high-speed counting operation and to discriminate a color stripe position for the counting by counting black stripes by a phase difference counting system. CONSTITUTION:Light 15 transmitted through the pattern 24 of a carbon stripes 2 of a panel 1 to be measured is split into two in a lens barrel part 16; and one transmitted light beam 15B is made incident on an image pickup camera 13 for stripe width measurement and the other transmitted light 15B is made incident on a detection part 14 for stripe counting. Then the detection part 14 is connected to a phase difference input counter and the light 15 is moved crossing the stripes 2, so that the colors of the color stripes shot by the image pickup camera 13 are discriminated by the counter number of stripes 2 obtained by a phase difference input counter based on the signal from the detection part 14. At this time, the image obtained by the camera 13 is processed to measure the stripe widths of red, green, and blue at measurement points and the width of each stripe 2. Therefore, the fluorescent screen is accurately and speedily evaluated by those measurements.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten the production stop time and to reduce the loss by logically tracing back a program of the ladder sequence system with an abnormality as a retrieval key to automatically clear up the cause position of the abnormality. CONSTITUTION:Plural blocks 31, 32, 33... each of which has an output instruction part 2 whose state is determined by the logic of a condition instruction part 1 having a relay are connected like a ladder. A process I where the output instruction part having an abnormal state is used as the retrieval key and its value is searched in all blocks, a process II where the validity of the block corresponding to the logical operation result of the condition instruction part of the found block is decided, a process III where all operatable relays are searched at the time when the block is valid, a process IV where the found relay is used as the next retrieval key to repeat processes I to III, and a process V where results for a failure in search of blocks and relays are outputted are provided. If an abnormality occurs, the program is automatically logically traced back with this abnormality as the retrieval key to automatically clear up the cause position of the abnormality.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To accomplish a high yield from production line by resistering the quality data pertaining to a color select electrode and panel in a memory on the basis of ID numbers, and conducting management with ID number for funnel or ID number for the panel corresponding to this funnel. CONSTITUTION:A bar-code label 3 is affixed to a panel P and a funnel F, wherein their ID number are designated as PNO, FNO. The qualities of color select electrode (AG), panel (P), and funnel (F) constituting a cathode-ray tube (CRT) are measured and made out in data form. This quality data Dq obtained is entered into a CPU together with PNO or FNO. Each piece of the quality data Dq is registered in a memory 26 on the basis of the ID number PNO or FNO. A quality data file is prepared using the ID numbers PNO or FNO as indeces, which is used for checking the qualities of materials in manufacturing processes or pursuing the hysteresis pertaining to the manufacturing process for cathode ray tube after consignment.
