Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the generator to generate an operating tone in response to an operated key or the like with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: An operation section 7 gives an operation signal corresponding to an operated key or the like to a microcomputer 1. The microcomputer 1 based on the operation signal controls a frequency generating circuit 2 and a PWM waveform generating circuit 5. An LPF 6 generates an attenuation signal S3 from a PWM signal S2 and controls a gain of a variable amplifier VCA 3 based on the signal S3. The VCA 3 controls the amplitude of a signal S1 from the frequency generating circuit 2 in response to the attenuation signal. The operating tone is generated by supplying a signal S4 from the VCA 3 to a speaker 4 with a simple configuration.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a video camera extending the usable time at the time of carrying by controlling the lighting of the illumination of liquid crystal display according to the condition of a power source and a surrounding environment by a comparatively easy method so as to reduce the power consumption of a battery. SOLUTION: The camera is provided with a CCD camera 7 forming the optical image of an object, a recording means converting this optical image to an image electric signal to record, a liquid crystal display device 4 displaying image data recorded in this recording means on a liquid crystal screen, an illuminating device 5 illuminating the liquid crystal screen of this device 4, an external power source supply power from the outside and an incorporated battery 2 supplying power at the time of carrying in stead of the external power source 3. The on/off of the illuminating operation of the device 5 is controlled by a microcomputer 1 to control the on/off of the illuminating operation of the device depending on whether the external power source 3 is used as a power source and on whether surrounding environment is brighter than a prescribed value.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue such an informing sound as adapts an equipment for an operating function and its use and makes operation, etc., pleasant by allowing an informing means to issue sound consisting of plural musical intervals and/or melodies. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a musical signal outputting part 13 generating kinds of musical interval signals, an envelope signal outputting part 14 generating kinds of envelope signals, and an amplifier 15 generating an informing sound signal obtained by mix-amplifying the musical interval signal and the envelope signal. A control part 12 controls to issue a characteristic informing sound obtained by mixing the musical interval signal of buzzer sound (melody) corresponding to the key operation of an external key block part 11 and the envelope signal. This informing sound is obtained by adding a musical interval to individual sounds, making a melody and mixing the envelope signal which is mixed for making sound more comfortable to hear, and can leave reverberations.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device where moving image recording is not instantaneously started when recognizing the screen or recording a still image by means of a comparatively simple method by stopping the still image display function in spite of the operation of two-stage switches when a recording means is recording a moving image. SOLUTION: When a moving image is recorded, a camera video-recording button Sw1 is depressed and the image from a CCD camera part 5 is recorded in the magnetic tape cassette of a video tape recorder as the moving image. When a still image is processed, the camera video-recording button Sw1 is released, a still image recording button Sw2 is depressed so as to permit a scene under observation at present to be a still image recognizing screen and the still image recording button Sw3 is depressed so to record the recognized image as the still image. When the still image recording button Sw2 or Sw3 of the two-stage switches is depressed, moving image recording is not instantaneously started even when the camera video-recording button Sw1 is depressed and the camera video-recording button Sw1 becomes effective after the release of the both still image recording buttons Sw2 and Sw3.
