Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication apparatus, a position information providing device and a position information providing system capable of selecting an apparatus meeting with a predetermined condition among a plurality of mobile communication apparatuses existing in a same area and capable of easily identifying a direction and a distance with respect to the selected counterpart apparatus in a system for performing navigation between the mobile communication apparatuses. SOLUTION: This position information providing system is constituted by the mobile communication apparatus and the position information providing device. When the mobile communication apparatus accesses the position information providing device, the position information providing device detects the position information of the mobile communication apparatus and the area is determined. The position information of other communication apparatuses existing in the same area is transmitted to the communication apparatus, and the desired communication apparatus is selected based on the information. The navigation is started by consent of both sides. In the respective communication apparatuses, the direction and the distance with respect to the counterpart communication apparatus are automatically calculated based on the direction information to which the own communication apparatus moves, own position information showing a present position, and position information of the counterpart apparatus. SOLUTION: This destination guide device 1 for guiding the user to the destination includes a position detecting means 12 for detecting the position of the destination guide device, a direction detecting means 14 for detecting the direction of the destination guide device, a destination position acquiring means 16 for acquiring the position of the destination, a route acquiring means 17 for acquiring a route where the user is to travel and a point for changing the route based on the position of the destination guide device and the position of the destination, and next-route indicating means 108, 116, 200 and 300 for changing the state correspondingly to the traveling direction in reference to the user on the basis of the next-route and the direction of the destination guide device when the destination guide device reaches the point. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp how a user moves in order to easily go to a destination. SOLUTION: A direction (north east) of the destination 32 viewed from the user 30 is found to find a direction (east) of the user 30 from a destination guide device 1. In order to display an advance direction (right oblique back) to the destination 32 viewed from the user 30 on a display part 114, the user 30 can find only the advance direction to the destination 32.
