    Abstract: This receiver carries out an electronic mode selection through a Flip-Flop circuit in case of being combined with VTR., in which a mode selecting bottom adopts the same operating type as a channel selecting bottom and both bottoms are closely arranged. The receiver consists of gate circuits(81, 82), a mode selecting circuit(10), and a freq. amplifier(3). The gate circuit selects only one video signal when a mode selecting signal from the freq. amplifier is applied. The Flip-Flop circuit controls the gate circuit whenever a switch(12) generates trigger signals(11).

    Abstract: In a color picture tube in which a plurality of beams are made to intersect each other at a location between the beam generating sources and the color screen and are focused on the latter by a main focusing lens positioned to dispose its optical center substantially at the location where the beams intersect so that beams emerge from such lens along divergent paths, first and second spaced plates are disposed at opposite sides of each of the divergent paths to electrostatically deflect the respective beam and cause convergence of all of the beams at a common area on the screen when the first and second plates are at different potentials, a high voltage is generated from a horizontal deflecting pulse provided for causing the beams to scan the screen and such high voltage is applied to an anode electrode of the tube and also to each first plate, and a static convergence deflecting voltage is obtained by dividing the aforementioned high voltage and is applied as the potential difference between the first and second plates by which the respective beam is to be deflected. Further, a dynamic convergence deflecting voltage, comprising both parabolic and sawtooth voltages is generated in response to the horizontal deflecting pulse and is superimposed on the static convergence deflecting voltage with provision being made for separately adjusting both deflecting voltages.

    Abstract: In a delay circuit for delaying an input signal having a range extending over a higher- and a lower-frequency region, and in which a charge transfer device, such a bucket-brigade device, transfers a signal from an input to an output thereof in response to a clocking signal applied to the charge transfer device; a pre-emphasis circuit in advance of the charge transfer device emphasizes the input signal in its higher-frequency region, and a de-emphasis circuit after the charge transfer device emphasizes the signal at the output of the device in the lower-frequency region of the signal to compensate for the emphasis provided by the pre-emphasis circuit so that the delay circuit has a total response that is substantially flat. Such a delay circuit can be included in a stereophonic sound extending circuit to delay, by several milliseconds, one of left- and right-channel signals applied to a matrix circuit which provides extended signal components formed by combining each one of the left- and right-channel signals with a phase-inverted version of the other signal.

Further, a dynamic convergence deflecting voltage, comprising both parabolic and sawtooth voltages is generated in response to the horizontal deflecting pulse and is superimposed on the static convergence deflecting voltage with provision being made for separately adjusting both deflecting voltages.
