Abstract:
To provide a registration apparatus, a collation apparatus, an extraction method and an extraction program capable of improving authentication accuracy. An image signal obtained by imaging a biometric subject in a predetermined biological position is subjected to predetermined processing so as to extract a feature portion of the biometric subject in the image signal. The feature portion is subjected to Hough transform. Parameter extraction is performed by changing the extraction condition such that the number of parameters obtained by the Hough transform becomes a predetermined value. In the case where the value of the extraction condition at the time point when the number of parameters is the predetermined value falls within a range from the upper limit set value to the lower limit set value, the predetermined number of parameters are set as registration data or data to be collated with the registration data.
Abstract:
A collation device (2) designates first registered information (RT1) intrinsic to a first parameter obtained by subjecting a registered image (AIM) to a generalized Hough transformation on the basis of a set first parameter, as the registered information (RT1) to be used for a collation, and designates, when it receives a changing instruction of the registered information (RT1) after that designation, the second registered information (RT1) obtained by subjecting the registered image (AIM) to the generalized Hough transformation on the basis of a second parameter different from the first parameter, as the registered information (RT1) to be used for the collation. Thus, the collation device (2) can improve security.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to an authentication apparatus and an authentication method, and a storage medium using the processing of matching blood vessel images (vein information) for authentication. The authentication apparatus capable of authenticating/matching images with a high precision comprises an acquisition section (11) for acquiring an image, a Hough transforming section (12) for transforming the image to information transformed with Hough transformation, vein information acquisition section (11) for acquiring proper vein information transformed with Hough transformation, matching section (16, 164) for matching the information with the proper vein information, and an authentication section (16, 17) for authenticating the acquired image according to a result of the matching section.
Abstract:
A video signal recording apparatus digitally records on a storage medium a video signal comprising an image signal, an audio signal, and an audio-associated information signal, the audio-associated information signal is included in a vertical blanking period of the video signal, the audio- associated information is collected, formatted, and digitally recorded in an area separate from areas where the image signal and audio signal are recorded.
Abstract:
A tape cassette includes a tape recording medium for recording audio and/or video signals, and a memory unit storing information related to the tape recording medium including positional information of audio and/or video signals stored thereon. The memory unit also stores reproduction control instructions which serve to control the operation of a tape reproduction device using the positional information stored in the memory unit.
Abstract:
There are provided an image correlation method, an image correlation device, and a program capable of performing a highly-accurate image correlation. The image correlation device includes a Huff transform unit (15) and a judgment unit (164). The Huff transform unit (15) subjects a registered image AIM and a correlated image RIM to Huff transform processing. More specifically, according to a distance rho from a reference position to the shortest point on the straight line L passing through points in the image and the angle theta defined by the straight line n0 passing through the reference position and the shortest point and the x-axis as a reference axis containing the reference position, the Huff transform unit (15) performs image processing by converting the points in the image to the pattern of a curved line PL and converting the straight line component in the image into the pattern of overlapped curved lines PL, thereby generating a converted image S1621 and a converted image S1622. According to the pattern overlap degree between the converted image S1621 and the converted image S1622 generated by the Huff transform unit (15) and coincidence and non-coincidence of the respective patterns, the judgment unit (164) performs correlation between the registered image AIM and the correlated image RIM.
