Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact disk drive system while reducing noise during disk rotation and reducing movement of components. SOLUTION: There are provided: a chuck support 171 which has a first gear part 180 at an outer peripheral edge, while supporting a chuck plate 170 which chucks an optical disk 2 with a turntable, so as to be moved within a predetermined range in a diameter direction of the turntable and an axial direction which is orthogonal to the diameter direction; a slide cam 94 which is slid along with loading and unloading of the optical disk; a chuck lever 190 which has a second gear part 191 engaged with a first gear part, and is rotated by slide operation of a slide cam; and a support elevating part to enable chucking operation and chucking release operation using the chuck plate by raising or lowering the chuck support when the optical disk is loaded or unloaded.
