    Abstract: A detector circuit for color television receivers having a pair of transistors whose emitter electrodes and collectors electrodes are connected together, respectively. An ACC detected output is obtained from the collector electrodes of the pair of transistors through an integrator circuit. A reference voltage is supplied to the emitters of the transistors which are connected together so as to provide a threshold voltage and differential input signals which are opposite in phase with each other are applied to the base electrodes of the transistors, respectively. At the output terminal of the detector circuit there is produced such a signal which corresponds to a full-wave rectified signal of the portions of the differential input signals exceeding the threshold level, and the full-wave rectified signal is made as a DC signal by the integrator circuit. This DC signal is then used as a gain control signal for, for example, an ACC amplifier.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain ease of design of stabilization of a bias point of a vertical output amplifier and design of the correction of vertical linearity by disconnecting completely a DC feedback circuit and an AC feedback circuit. CONSTITUTION:An adder circuit 21 is provided between a drive amplifier 2 and a vertical output amplifier 3. Then a parabola form voltage VP obtained at a connecting point P1 is fed to a sample and hold circuit 22, the voltage VP is sampled by a sampling pulse SP obtained at a point of time delayed by a fixed time from a vertical synchronous pulse position and its sampling value is held. The hold voltage is fed to the adder circuit 21 via an LPF23 to form a DC feedback loop thereby stabilizing the bias point of the amplifier 3. Moreover, an AC component obtained at a connecting point P2 is fed to other input of the drive amplifier 2 to form the AC feedback loop thereby correcting the vertical linearity.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the cross talk between horizontal deflecting coils and vertical deflecting coils by coupling a pair of auxiliary coils with a positive coupling coefficient and coupling the leakage flux with the vertical deflecting coils. CONSTITUTION:When a core 4 is moved to correct the miss-convergence, the magnetic flux of one auxiliary coil 2 or 3 is increased, and the magnetic flux of the other auxiliary coil 3 or 2 is decreased. Since the coupling coefficient of these auxiliary coils is positive, the sum of each flux phi1+phi2 becomes invariably constant. The auxiliary coils 2, 3 are interlinked with the leakage flux concentrically generated around a beam axis from vertical deflecting coils LV1, LV2. On the contrary, the leakage flux from the auxiliary coils 2, 3 is interlinked with the vertical deflecting coils LV1, LV2, both of them are magnetically coupled, and the coupling direction is the direction to cancel the cross talk. Accordingly, the cross talk can be reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To sufficiently correct intermediate pin distortion while securing the dynamic range of right-and-left pin distortion correction by using a transformer structure to a modulation coil and supplying a deflection current to a correction coil which is a secondary coil. CONSTITUTION:The secondary winding 20b of the transformer 20 is connected to the first S-shaped correction capacitor 11 in series. The other end of said winding is connected to a connection point between the second S-shaped correction capacitor 13 and the primary winding 20a of the transformer 20. When a deflection current (iy) is large, a modulation current i' can be made in small value even if the S-shaped voltage of the capacitor 13 by said current (iy) goes to a large value. Therefore, even when the capacity of the capacitor 13 is made smaller for the intermediate pin distortion correction, the dynamic range of the right-and-left pin distortion correction can be made wide. As a result, a sufficiently practical right-and-left pin correction distortion correction circuit can be formed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make automatic switching even when a vertical deflection frequency changes and to correct in level of a correcting signal with vertical period by providing a PLL circuit and a phase-shifting circuit and controlling a vertical synchronizing signal by the phase error voltage of the PLL circuit when the frequency of the vertical synchronizing signal changes. CONSTITUTION:A signal synchronous with a vertical synchronizing signal VD is obtained in the PLL circuit 20 from a dividing circuit 22 and supplied to a phase shifting circuit 28. Phase error voltage V from an LPF26 is supplied to the phase shifting circuit 28 to control the phase. A signal delayed in phase by tau to the two signals is obtained from the circuit 28 irrespective of vertical synchronizing pulses of 60Hz and 50Hz. In a triangular wave forming circuit 60 count the value from a counter 30 and reference count value REF3 are compared, and the pulse is supplied to a triangular wave converting circuit 62 at the time when both values coincide. Time constant of light discharge of the circuit 62 is switched in cases of 50Hz and 60Hz by an error voltage DELTAV passed through an amplifier 31 to make peak value constant. Further, the level of correcting signals of circuits 90, 100 and 110 is regulated by phase error voltage DELTAV.

Thus, the level of the high voltage output can be correctly supervised.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform appropriate correction in spite of the size of the level of a video signal, by supplying a signal corresponding to a beam current to a horizontal deflection circuit after passing a limiter which functions to an AC component in an image distortion correction circuit which corrects image distortion due to the fluctuation of a high voltage according to the change of the luminance of a picture. CONSTITUTION:The DC component of a detecting voltage EABL supplied to a terminal 4 is supplied to the non-inversion input terminal of a differential amplifier 2 via resistors 11 and 12. The AC component of the voltage is supplied to the non-inversion input terminal of the differential amplifier 2 via capacitors 13 and 14 and a resistor 15. The negative side of the detecting voltage EABL is limited by a forward direction drop voltage VF of a Zener diode 16, and the positive side is limited by a Zener voltage VZ centering AC=O V. Therefore, by setting the amplitude of the AC component of the detecting voltage EABL so as to be set in a negative direction when the level of the video signal arrives at a prescribed level, it is possible to correct the image distortion due to the fluctuation of the high voltage appropriately since the amplitude of the AC component is limited when the level of the video signal exceeds the prescribed level.
