    Abstract: PURPOSE:To keep the scanning speed of an electronic beam constant over an entire screen, through dynamic S correction, by applying a parabolic voltage of a horizontal period modulated with a vertical period parabolic waveform to a horizontal deflection coil for correction. CONSTITUTION:When horizontal and vertical blanking pulses are fed to a control circuit 100, a switch 110 is switched to the terminal W, and DC voltage of the power supply 120 is fed to the 1st grid 11 of the picture tube 10. Thus, the horizontal scanning start section is scanned with the beam current having constant and greater value comparatively, and the index signal is picked up from the photodetector 50 and it is fed to a PLL70 to obtain the gate signals GR, GG, GB of three phase and it is fed to the low pass filter 140. The voltage fed to the low pass filter 140 is that the parabolic voltage of horizontal period is modulated with the parabolic waveform of vertical period, and this voltage is fed to the corrective horizontal deflection coil 40. Thus, dynamic S-shape correction is made.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the linearity of the horizontal deflection and thus to eliminate the color shift by supplying the output current of the LPF of the PLL circuit to the primary side of the control transformer and then giving the negative feedback type control to the horizontal deflection current. CONSTITUTION:Photo detector 21 is provided outside picture tube 10, and the output signal is supplied to BPF22 for extraction of the index signal. And the index signal is supplied to PLL30. And now if the horizontal scanning speed is decreased with lowering of the frequency of the index signal, output voltage EL of LPF34 in circuit 30 lowers down with voltage EC increased to be applied to primary side 51 of control transformer 50. And the inductance decreases at secondary side 52, and the current flowing to horizontal deflecting coil 61 increases along with the horizontal scanning speed increased. On the contrary, if the horizontal scanning speed increased, the speed is retarded. Thus the linearity of the horizontal deflection is improved with the negative feedback type control, and as a result the horizontal scanning speed becomes virtually constant for the horizontal beam of the electron beam.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To cancel the unnecessary functions which are previously set to a system control CPU in relation to the lowering of the power voltage level by detecting the voltage level lowering of an on-vehicle power supply by a power voltage level lowering detecting circuit and then stopping the supply of power to the system control CPU. CONSTITUTION:The lowering of the on-vehicle power voltage level is detected by a detection circuit 22 and a switch 26 is turned off. Thus the supply of the circuit power is interrupted to a system control CPU 25. Then the switching control action is discontinued to a stopping mode. Consequently, the on-vehicle power voltage is reset to its original level and a normal working state is secured again when a switch 12 is changed to a position (b) after the start of an engine. Thus an original play mode, for example, is automatically reset after the start of the engine even though the engine is started in the playing node. Thus, it is possible to prevent the unnecessary operations like the function set previously to the CPU 25, e.g., an automatic switching function which sets a stopping mode in accordance with a fact that no external reference signal is available at the lowering of the power voltage level.

Here if it is the red signal of the high level, a signal H is outputted together by the first and second comparators 4 and 5, and the signal H is shown in the outputting electrode t1. If it is the red signal of the medium level, a signal L is outputted by a first comparator 4, the signal H is outputted by the second comparator 5, and a signal M, which is the intermediate value of signal L and signal H is shown in the outputting electrode t1. If it is the red signal of the low level, a signal L is outputted by the first and second comparators 4 and 5, and the signal L is shown in the outputting electrode t1. Thus the three values can be surely detected.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a prescribed pre-heating voltage for heater during the time of no load(the time when the television circuitry is stopped of operation) by selectively connecting the television circuit and a prescribed dummy load to the load terminal of a switching regulator of PWM control system. CONSTITUTION:To preheat, the voltage V1 is impressed to the bases of transistors 22 and 25 via resistors 23, 26, and 27 therefore, the transistors 22 and 15 are turned on. Accordingly, resistors 20 and 21 are connected, and a transistor 28 is turned off due to the turning on of the transistor 25, and the television circuit 8 stops its operation. That is, a current flows through the resistors 20 and 21 and these resistors consume power as a dummy load. There fore, a feedback voltage V3 can be obtained directly from a control loop, and the regulator executes approximately normal control action. As a result, a voltage V2 of a sufficiently large value necessary for pre-heating the heater 12 is obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To adjust a focus automatically to the best state by controlling the level of DC voltage FV of the focus by the phase comparison output of a phase comparator that detects the state of the focus. CONSTITUTION:To focus electrode 14, a signal obtained by superposing an AC signal out of phase with signal SX on DC voltage FV is supplied and then amplitude- modulated according to the state of index signal S1. In an over-focus state, SH voltage EH of sample holding (SH) circuit 70 is small in a vertical period in which the said SX is at a high level and large in another vertical period when signal SX is at a low level. As a result, the negative-side output of phase comparison output (differential amplifier 83) of phase comparator 80 becomes greater than the positive- side output to increase the output of DC-DC converter 50 and the said FV supplied to the said electrode 14 rises, thereby obtaining the just-focus state. In an under- focus state, the said FV falls to the contrary and the just-focus state can be obtained.
