Abstract:
A laser plate making apparatus is disclosed for forming a press plate from a form plate sheet. The apparatus includes a laser light source for providing a laser beam, a collimator lens, an objective lens and an anamorphic prism. The laser light source serves to emit a laser beam onto the form plate sheet through the collimator lens, the objective lens and the anamorphic prism. The anamorphic prism serves to shape the laser beam such that even if a focal stripe width is made small the focal depth is not substantially shortened.

In a liquid ejection apparatus including a plurality of chips arranged in-a specific direction, each chip including a plurality of liquid ejection units juxtaposed in the specific direction, the displacement of liquid landing position in the specific direction is reduced. A printer head chip includes a heating resistor, which is divided into two and arranged within one ink liquid chamber. The two-divided heating resistors within the one, ink liquid chamber are juxtaposed in a direction perpendicular to the lining-up direction of nozzles.

There is provided a microparticle sorting apparatus including a main channel through which a fluid including microparticles flows, a branch channel that is in communication with the main channel, an actuator that causes a negative pressure to be generated in the branch channel, and a drive unit that controls a voltage applied to the actuator to cause a change in pressure containing a step waveform component and an undershoot waveform component in the branch channel.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional device requires the number of display LEDs equal to the number of ink colors or requires a wide space for disposing a display and it is uneconomical. SOLUTION: This device is provided with one light-emitting display lamp 21 capable of displaying a plurality of colors by emitting lights, an ink tank for receiving inks of colors equal in number to the number of colors to be displayed by the light-emitting display lamp 21, an ink amount detection part for detecting the amount of the plurality of inks received in the ink tank for each ink of the color, a printing operation detection part for detecting the operation of a printer 10 to output its detection signal, a driving operation detection part for detecting the operation of a disk driving device 9 to output its detection signal, and a first light emission control unit for controlling an emitted light color and a light emission state of the light emitting display lamp 21 according to the operation of the printer 10, the operation of the disk driving device 9, and the ink amount of each color based on the detection signal from the ink amount detection part, the detection signal from the printing operation detection part, and a detection signal from the driving operation detection part.
