    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine optional information only with one selection block of a specific broadcast band by extracting a prescribed signal from a packet signal in one broadcast channel and combining the signal with a signal selected from other channel. SOLUTION: A control circuit 60 receives a broadcast band selection command by a infrared ray signal from a remote commander 11 and commands it to a band selection circuit 61, which selects a 1st broadcast band designated by the user and provides an output to a conversion circuit 62. Then the circuit 62 converts the signal into packet signal for video, text, audio signals and a packet list is fed to the circuit 60 via a packet selection circuit 63 and the video, text, audio signals of the 1st broadcast band are set and outputted to a display device 13 and a speaker 14 via video and audio signal processing circuits 64, 65. Then the user command signal is selected in the order of an output command signal for video, text, audio signals of a specific broadcast band and a program output command signal of a specific channel in this way and the processing corresponding to each command signal is conducted.

An arithmetic unit 9 takes information regarding the program out of supplied control data and displays the information in real time on a display device 31 together with the current charging state independently of the videos of the program.

In the case of judging that the channel + key is kept depressed in the step S7, processings after the step S2 are repeated, only the channel number is changed and a tuning processing is started when it is judged that the channel + key is released.
