    Abstract: PURPOSE:To seek at high speed by supporting a magnet which constitutes a magnetic circuit part which moves and scans a magnetic field generating means in a separation direction to the main surface of a magneto-optical disk, cooperating with a coil for driving attached to a continuous means, by an attachment base plate. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic field generator which becomes a magnetic field generating means is connected to an optical pick-up device 4 with a support arm 11 which becomes a connecting means and supports, and is placed opposite to an objective lens 4a with a magneto-optical disk. A coil 12 for driving attached to the support arm 11 cooperates with a magnet 13 and a magnetic yoke 14 supported by an attachment base plate 1b and constitutes a magnetic current part which operates to move the magnetic field generation device 10 in the separation direction to the main surface of the magneto-optical disk 3. Thus, the magnet 13 which cooperates with the coil 12 for driving to constitute the magnetic circuit part 15 which operates the motion of the magnetic field generating means 10 is supported by the attachment base plate, so this magnetic field circuit part never becomes the load to the moving of the optical pickup. Thus, the high speed seeking becomes possible.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely fix a lens to a lens barrel with a simple structure by inserting a holding ring having an engaging part having elasticity in the lens barrel, and engaging the engaging part to a part to be engaged of the lens barrel. CONSTITUTION:In the case of inserting a plastic lens 11 consisting of a synthetic resin formed body into a lens barrel 10 and fixing it, first of all, the lens 11 is inserted into the lens barrel 10. The peripheral edge part of the lower face of the lens 11 is received by a stepped part 12. A holding ring 15 is inserted from the upper face of its part. Subsequently, a claw 17 of an engaging piece 16 of the holding ring 15 is hooked to an opening 13 for constituting a part to be engaged of the lens barrel 10, by which the lens 11 is held and fixed by the lens barrel 10 and the holding ring 15. In such a manner, the lens can be fixed easily with the simple structure, and also, by using the holding ring of a low cost, and also, the lens can be removed in accordance with necessity.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress focus resonance, and to improve performance by providing a dynamic pressure groove bearing between the stator and the rotor of an optical disk drive spindle motor, and separating the stator and the rotor by a lubrication film layer at the time of rotation. CONSTITUTION:When a driving coil 16 is energized, and a shaft 21 is rotated, the pumping pressure of a spiral groove provided at a thrust bearing plate 24 overcomes the suction force of pre-loading magnets 17,20, and the shaft 21 is floated above the plate 24. Besides, the lubrication film layer is formed in a gap between the shaft 21 and radial bearing sleeves 22, 23 by the pumping action of herring-bone grooves 25, 26, and load is supported by the generated pressure. Accordingly, the shaft 21 is separated perfectly, and the vibration of the stator can be prevented from being transmitted to the shaft 21 and a turntable 27 side.

CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head 1 and an optical sensor 2 are provided on a movable substrate 4 so as to face a surface 3A of a magneto-optical recording medium 3. A winding part IC such as a coil is provided in a protruding pattern on the surface of the upper surface of the magnetic head 1. A light emitting and receiving part 2P having a laser diode and photodetector and the like is provided on the upper surface of the optical sensor 2. At this time, damper members 13 are provided on the edge part of the light emitting and receiving part 2P on the side of the magnetic head 1 and the edge part on the opposite side at the positions which do not close the light emitting and receiving part 2P of the optical sensor 2. Thus, the damage of the magnetic head 1 is avoided, and the decrease in yield rate can be suppressed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively fix an optical pick-up device and at the same time prevent a beam splitter plate from falling and being fluctuated even if a slide base generates creep by pinching the slide base and the beam splitter plate with a clipping member consisting of an elastic plate material. SOLUTION: A beam splitter plate 41 consists of a glass member of a thin parallel flat plate, passes outward light from a semiconductor laser 22 as it is, and changes inward light being reflected by a magnetooptical disk by 90 degrees. A clipping member 52 consists of a square thin leaf spring material with elasticity as in a stainless steel plate and is bent at two points in the longer direction of the square and hence is formed in U shape. In manufacturing, the beam splitter plate 41 is slid along a fixed wall 53 being provided at a slide base 20 and is arranged at the specified position of the slide base 20, and the base part of the beam splitter plate 41 and the fixed wall 53 are overlapped, are pinched, and fixed at the U-shaped opening of the clipping member 52.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offset coma aberration of a flat plate and correct astigmatism of light source secure defocusing tolerance and improve field characteristic by arranging a first and a second plat plates with the inclination direction opposite to each other. SOLUTION: A first parallel flat plate cover glass 3 is arranged with a predetermined inclination angle to the optical axis of laser emitted from a semiconductor laser chip 2 as the light source. Thereby, astigmatism of the light beam emitted from the chip 2 can be compensated. A aberration compensating plate 4 which will become the second parallel flat plate is arranged with the predetermined inverse inclination angle to the inclination direction of glass 3 for the transmitting optical axis of the glass 3. With inverse inclination position of the glass 3 and compensating plate 4, the coma aberration generated by these elements is canceled to control the amount of coma aberration. Accordingly, astigmatism generated by chip 2 can be corrected without increase in amount of generation of coma aberration. Therefore, an error rate during reading of information signal can be controlled and tolerance for defocusing of objective lens can be secured and moreover, field characteristic can be improved through control of coma aberration.
