    Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce circuit scale by selectively outputting the output of a luminance signal comb-line filter and a chroma signal comb-line filter or the output of a camera signal processing circuit. CONSTITUTION: The frequency band of a luminance signal Y and a chroma signal C is limited and the component of the signal Y and the component of the signal C are added so as to be separated in terms of frequencies and the added signal is fed to an input terminal 1. Then the added video signal or the image pickup signal picked up by an image pickup element is given to an A/D converter 14, in which the image pickup signal is digitized. An output of the A/D converter 14 is fed to a terminal 22B of a switch circuit 22 and the circuit 22 is thrown to the position of the terminal 22B in the case of the VTR reproduction mode and a switch circuit 23 is thrown to the position of a terminal 23A. Then the output of the A/D converter 14 is fed to a cascade connection circuit of one-line delay circuits 16, 17. Then an output of the circuit 23 and an inter-stage output of the circuits 16, 17 are fed to a Y comb-line filter 3. Furthermore, the output of the circuit 23, the output of the circuit 27 and the inter-stage output of the circuits 16, 17 are fed to a C comb-line filter 4.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain the magnetic recording and reproducing device in which color drooping is prevented and the S/N is improved. CONSTITUTION: When no crosstalk is included in a chroma signal or its level is equal to or less than a noise level, since a head is seldom bridged over an adjacent track, the level of the crosstalk is less than the noise level. In this case, a switch SW 1 is thrown to the position of a limiter 20 to eliminate a non-correlation component of the chrominance signal. As a result, even when a feedback quantity is increased to improve the S/N, color drooping is not increased and the image quality is enhanced. On the other hand, when the crosstalk is included, since the signal is not given to the limiter 20, the switch SW 1 is thrown to the other position, then an output signal (feedback signal) from a BPF 2 is fed to an ATT 3 as it is.
