Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent a disturbed display from being performed at the time of selecting a station and to reduce the flicker of a screen. CONSTITUTION: The video signal tuned in a tuner circuit 2 is supplied to a YC separation circuit 3 and the separated luminance signal is supplied to an output circuit 7 via an image quality adjusting circuit 4, a contrast adjusting circuit 5 and a brightness adjusting circuit 6. A chroma signal is supplied to the output circuit 7 via a burst separation circuit 8, a color saturation adjusting circuit 9 and a color demodulation circuit 10, the 3 original color signals taken out are supplied to a color cathode-ray tube 14 and the display of an image is performed. A selecting station control signal is supplied from an input terminal 15 to a selecting station circuit 16 and the selecting station and the tuning of a desired broadcasting channel is performed in the tuner circuit 2. Further, adjusting signals are supplied to the adjusting circuits 5, 6 and 9 via an input terminal 19 and a multiplier 20, and the selecting station operation signal from the selecting station circuit 16 is supplied to the multiplier 20 via a timer circuit 21.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain correct and quick access. SOLUTION: A reproducing command is transmitted in addition to a prescribed address from a video CD control part 8 to a CD mechanical control part 3 via a system control part 11 and then the reproducing of a video CD 1 is started by a CD driving part 2. The reproducing data of the disk are supplied to an MPEG circuit part 4 via the CD mechanical control part 3, and in the MPEG circuit part 4, the address included in the reproducing data is supplied to the video CD control part 8, in which the difference value between the address from the MPEG circuit part 4 and the prescribed address transmitted in addition to the reproducing command is calculated as a correction value. Thereafter, at the time of transmitting the address in addition to the reproducing command, the video CD control part 8 transmits the address after correcting it by the correction value.

SOLUTION: When a video CD control part 8 receives a prescribed command periodically transmitted from a system control part 11, the part 8 is made so as to perform processings corresponding to the command. Moreover, when the prescribe command is received from the system control part 11, in the video CD control part 8, the state of an MPEG circuit part 4 decoding data reproduced from a video CD 1 is detected in addition to the above-mentioned processings and in the case where the state is an abnormal state, a reset is applied to the MPEG circuit.
