Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a noise due to the elongation and contraction of a tape by providing another heat before the 1st heat which records and reproduces a sound signal, and arranging those two heads so that the 1st heat rushes to the tape in the remaining period of the waving of the tape due to the rushing of the other head. CONSTITUTION:Heads HA1 and HA2 are provided a specific size behind heads HV1 and HV2. Further, steps (h) which are about one pitch or more than of a slanting track on the tape T so that the heads HA1 and HA2 are on the supply side of the tape T. Consequently, the tape T elongates firstly owing to the rushing of the heads HV1 and HV2, but oscillates at the same time and the heads HA1 and HA2 rush while the oscillation remains; the heads HV1 and HV2 contact the tape T without striking the tape T and perform recording or reproduction without any elongation of the tape T. Therefore, no noise is generated even in the reproduction by another VTR of similar constitution.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure the interchangeability between magnetic recording/reproducing devices of different mechanical systems by producing the artificial noise in response to the characteristics of the mechanical system by means of noise generating means and superposing these noises on the recording signals to obtain an ideal pattern which is not affected by said mechanical characteristics for tracks on a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:When a standard tape is reproduced, the artificial noise signal is added to the reproduction signal sent from an FM demodulator 48 by an adder 50 in order to offset the mechanical noise of a magnetic recording/reproducing device. Therefore a sound signal containing no said mechanical noise is obtained from an output terminal 58. When the sound signal is recorded, the artificial noise signal is subtracted from the output signal of a noise reduction circuit 28. The recording wavelength which is recorded to a magnetic tape 42 are corrected to be even over the entire part of a track. Thus the recording wavelength is equal at any position of a track regardless of the presence of mechanical noises. As a result, the sound signal reproduced by this new device having a correcting circuit has no said mechanical noise as long as the using tape has the normal recording wavelength including a standard tape.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce jitter by providing a correcting circuit, which adjusts the level, the phase, or the like of a pulse synchronized with rotation of a rotary head to obtain a correction signal, and a means which adds the correction signal to the driving signal of the rotary head. CONSTITUTION:At the time of reproducing in the SP mode, about 30HZ head switching pulse SWP is supplied to an input terminal 3 of a correcting circuit 2 and a correction signal Sc is outputted to an output terminal 4. This signal Sc is added to the error signal of a drum servo circuit 5; and in the servo circuit 5, rotation of a drum motor 6 which drives a drum 1 is detected by a rotation detector 7 of a frequency generator or the like and is supplied to a phase comparing circuit 8 and is compared with a reference signal Ss. The error signal obtained from the phase comparing circuit 8 is added to the signal Sc by an adder 9 to control rotation of the motor 6 through a driving circuit 10. Thus, the jitter component is cancelled.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate sags stably irrespectively of the varying extents of sags and to reduce the size of a device by detecting the intermittent driving and revolving speeds of a motor only by the electric circuit constitution without using mechanical construction. CONSTITUTION:A driving circuit 8 is operated by the sag removing signal according to the sag removing operations of a tape. If there is any sag, rotating speed of a motor 7 increases sharply, and the output of an f-V converter 5 exceeds a reference voltage Vref. At a time t2 a voltage comparator 6 operates and the compared output thereof is changed over to ''H''. The output of the circuit 8 drops to a zero level when the compared output is ''H''. Therefore the revolving speed of the motor 7 decreases and the f-V converted output drops lower than the reference voltage. Here the compared output changes over to ''L'', and the motor 7 is again driven. Thereafter the motor is driven intermittently by the repetition of the above-mentioned operations until the sags of the tape are removed. At the point of the time when it is detected that a reel turntable 2 is at a standstill by the thorough removal of the sags of the tape, the power supply to the circuit 8 is interrupted and the driving of the motor 7 is completely stopped.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To control a tape speed and tension securely and easily even in high-speed tape running state by detecting the driving current of a take-up reel motor and by controlling the servo circuit of a supply reel motor by the output of the detection. CONSTITUTION:As the driving current of reel motor 1 varies with the load of the tape path system, the voltage across resistor 6 that detects the driving current of reel motor 1 varies and is compared to a reference voltage by voltage comparator 8, etc. Voltage comparator 8 decreases in output level when the detected voltage is greater than the reference voltage and increases when not. Therefore, as fluctuations of the load increase the driving current of reel motor 1, its rotating force also increases, but the back tension of reel motor 2 decreases to the contrary. Thus, constant rotating force torque is held and the constant speed of the take-up reel turntable can be attained. This constitution can exercise control over the tape speed and tension easily and securely even in high-speed tape run mode.

The 1st power supply terminal 11 is connected to a switch terminal (a) at one side of the switch 3, and the voltage +V1 is supplied to the terminal (a), While, the 2nd power supply terminal 12 is connected to the other switch terminal (b), and the voltage +V2 is supplied to the terminal (b). A command signal for selection of fast forward mode, for example, is supplied to a signal input terminal 13. This command signal is supplied as a control signal to the switch 2 as well as to the switch 3 via a delaying means like a mono-multi 4, etc.
