Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a switch device having a backup power source capable of surely preventing trouble caused by forgetting to turn off a power source switch in case of replacing the power source. SOLUTION: A switch device 1 is composed of a box type device body 2 having a mother board 3 in the interior, a cover 4 for covering two opening parts 2a and 2a etc., for inserting the power source unit of the body 2, and respective power source units 10; which is housed in the inside of the body 2 from the respective opening parts 2a of the body 2, and to which power source connectors 10a are connected to the connector 3a of the mother board 3. The respective power source units 10 have toggle type power source switches 13 on the upper side of a front face 11, and are detachably fitted to the fitting plate 5 of the body 2 by screws 16 together with plate springs 20. When the screws 16 are removed at the replacement of the power source units 10, the switches 13 are constantly made into an OFF condition by the elastic energizing force of the plate springs 20 to replace a power source in a safe condition.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the proper operating state of a hard disk attached to an attachment member supported on a recording and reproducing device by preventing the backlash of the attachment member. SOLUTION: Concerning this structure for supporting an attachment member 11 onto the recording and reproducing device, the attachment member 11 attaching a hard disk 24 inside is inserted into an arrangement part 8 of the recording and reproducing device capable of the recording or reproducing of information signals or the both and when the insertion is completed, the terminal part of the attachment member 11 on the opposite side of an inserting direction is fixed at the arrangement part. In this case, repulsive means 9 and 10 are provided at the terminal parts of wall parts 4, 5 and 6 forming the arrangement part on the side of the inserting direction or at the terminal part of the attachment member 11 on the side of the inserting direction and when the attachment member 11 is inserted into the arrangement part, the attachment member can be repulsively supported at the arrangement part by the repulsive contact of the repulsive means 9 and 10 to the attachment member or the wall parts of the arrangement part.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a proper operating condition of a hard disk by making the mounting section of a mounting member displaceable against a mounting surface, to absorb dimensional tolerances of the disk and the mounting section, and properly mounting the disk on the member to avoid an unnecessary external force applied to the disk from the member. SOLUTION: A hard disk 22 is inserted into the opening of the right side of a mounting member 9 and mounted to the member 9 by the screws which connect the top surface of the disk 22 to a top side mounting section 15 of a top section wall 10 and the bottom surface of the disk 22 to a bottom side mounting section 16 of a bottom section wall 11. While mounting the disk 22 to the member 9, the dimensional tolerance of the disk 22 or the member 9 is absorbed because the section 15 formed on the wall 10 is formed in a tongue shape and the disk 22 is mounted on the member 9 without an unnecessary external force that may be exerted on the disk 22 by the member 9.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the operability in package assembly greatly by providing an elastic member between an optical fiber holding part and a coupling part and holding the coupling part by a holding part through the elastic member. CONSTITUTION:The united part 2 where a photosemiconductor and a lens part 6 are mounted and the optical fiber holding part 3 which holds an optical fiber 7 are coupled together through the coupling part. Then the elastic member 8 is provided between the optical fiber holding part 3 and coupling part. Therefore, when a package is assembled, the united part 2 is fitted on an XY stage 11, the fiber holding part 3 which supports the coupling part through the elastic member 8 is fitted to a stage 13, and the both are adjusted to assemble the package. Consequently, the coupling part need not be supported independently and the assembling operation is improved greatly.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To couple an optical fiber efficiently by fixing the distance between a light emitting element and a lens at a position which is shifted by a specific quantity from measured distance and coupling the optical fiber with the fixed light emitting element and lens. CONSTITUTION:When a laser chip 1 and the optical fiber 3 are coupled with each other, either of a substrate 4 and a lens holding part 7 is mounted on a translation stage whose (z)-axial movement distance can be measured with a micrometer through an optional coupling tool (not shown in figure), etc., in the presence of a fiber holding part 8, and the other is also mounted on a fixed base through a coupling tool, etc. as well. Then, a laser chip 1 is turned on and the translation stage is moved in this stage to adjust the (z)-axial distance between the substrate 4 and lens holding part 7, thereby finding the position where the projection light of the emitted beam of the laser chip 1 after being passed through a spherical lens 2 is a parallel beam. Further, specific distance is measured with the micrometer, etc., and the translation stage is moved in the (z) direction to fix the substrate 4 and lens holding part 7 in this state.
