PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a camera system in which a lens device driving an optical element according to the specification of imaging processing is detachably attached to a camera body, which cuts off the supply of power at the moment when the attachable and detachable lens device is detached from the camera body. SOLUTION: The lens device 110 includes: a connection terminal 213 which is electrically connected to the camera body 100; and a connection informing and specification receiving part 510 which informs the camera body 100 of the completion of electrical connection through the connection terminal 213 and receives the information on the specification transmitted through the connection terminal 213. The camera body 100 includes: a connection terminal 203 which is electrically connected to the connection terminal 213 provided on the side of the lens device 110; and a connection informing and specification transmitting part 440 which detects the completion of electrical connection to a lens driving part 500 through the connection terminal 203 and transmits the information on the specification to the lens driving part 500 through the connection terminal 213. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an image data interpolation part 15 that generates interpolation pixel data in each direction by interpolating from two directions on the basis of pixel data in a position and/or surrounding of the pixel data generated, on the basis of an image-pickup signal from a solid-state image-pickup element where an image-pickup light enters by way of a color filter, a correlation value detection part 16 for detecting correlation value which indicates the degree of correlation in the two directions of the interpolation pixel data, an offset circuit 18 for adding a specified value to the correlation value in each of the directions, a weighting and adding circuit 22 for generating the interpolation pixel data by weighting and adding the interpolation pixel data in each of the directions, on the basis of the correlation value to which the specified value is added, and an image generation means for generating an image on the basis of the interpolated pixel data. In the case of pixel data that constitute the pixel data which, for example, change their color for each pixel, the correlation value of which cannot be obtained, these camera signal processing device and camera signal processing method are able to prevent the correlation values from being mutually switched, even when a signal in a wide area or an amplitude of the correlation value is minute.
