    Abstract: PURPOSE:To stabilize characteristic, to improve a recording state and to enable the execution of recording with high efficiency by executing good recording and reproducing without deterioration by stepwise two photon excitation in the wavelength multiplex recording medium and wavelength multiplex recording method utilizing a light hole burning phenomenon. CONSTITUTION:The wavelength multiplex recording medium is obtd. by dispersing zinc tetraphenyl porphine and adamantane bromide into a supporting material or dispersing dyestuff which has zinc tetraphenyl porphine skeleton and is introduced with electron acceptors as the substitution group into the supporting material. Information signals are recorded by stepwise two photon excitation on the wavelength multiplex recording medium.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow the execution of good recording and reproducing without deterioration by dispersing a light absorptive dye and electron receptor or electron donor into a supporting material, specifying the free energy change of an electron transfer reaction and executing the recording by stepwise two photon stimulation. CONSTITUTION:The light absorptive dye and the electron receptor or electron donor are dispersed into the supporting material and the free energy change DELTAG of the electron transfer reaction is specified to >=-2.0eV; in addition, the recording is executed by the stepwise two photon stimulation. The recording is executed by the photochemical hole burning by the stepwise two photon stimulation if the free energy change DELTAG of the electron transfer reaction is specified to >=-2.0eV by adding the electron receptor or electron donor to the light absorbing dye in such a manner, then this material is cooled to a cryogenic temp. and is simultaneously irradiated with wavelength selecting light and gate light. The reading-out can be executed by the irradiation of only the wavelength selecting light, the photochemical burning is not generated by the irradiation with only the wavelength selecting light and the recording state is maintained as it is. The good recording and reproducing are executed in this way without deterioration.

Addition of a phenol to the composition serves to further enhance the heat stability. As compared with conventional photochromic compositions, this photochromic photosensitive composition is thermally extremely stable in a colored state, and the developed color image can be stored for an enough long time to be suited for long-time recording.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow an easy and highly reliable orientation treatment even with the liquid crystal display element, etc., by an active matrix system by subjecting the surface, which faces a liquid crystal layer, of one substrate to a rubbing treatment and forming an LB film on the surface, which faces the liquid crystal layer, of the other substrate. CONSTITUTION:The LB film is formed on the surface, which faces the liquid crystal layer, of the one substrate of the liquid crystal display element constituted by crimping the liquid crystal layer exhibiting a twisted nematic phase between a pair of the substrates previously formed with electrodes and the surface, which faces the liquid crystal layer, of the other substrate is subjected to the rubbing treatment. Namely, an adequate pretilt angle theta is attained and the sufficient orientation control power is exhibited by combining the orientation treatment by the LB film and the orientation treatment by the rubbing treatment. The liquid crystal display element having the excellent reliability and electric field responsiveness and a high contrast ratio is obtd. in this way.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a solvent medium when a magnetic coating material is manufactured by a method wherein the physical properties of surface of powder is remodelled by conducting a prescribed surface treatment on hexagonal system ferrite magnetic powder. CONSTITUTION:Hexagonal system ferrite magnetic powder is surface-treated using tangstic acid anion and/or molybdic acid anion. WO4 , [W12O46] , and the like, MoO4 , [MoO7O24] and the like are used. The larger the valence number becomes, the easier the specific attraction becomes. Magnetic powder is dispersed into the aqueous solution of tangstate or molybdate and anion is adsorbed. The surface density of the tangstic acid ions on the magnetic powder is selected to 0.1 to 10ion/nm , and the surface density of molybdic acid ion is also selected in the range same as above- mentioned. This surface-treated magnetic powder is kneaded with bonding resin, and it is spread on the surface of the non-magnetic supporting member which is publicly known. According to this constitution, no deterioration is generated in a solvent medium when it is formed into a coating material, high filling adaptability and a high orientation can be obtained, and a recording medium of high output can also be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable full color recording through a single operation by forming a color developing part consisting of a plurality of color combinations on a base and providing a position detecting means in accordance with the cycle of the color developing part. CONSTITUTION:A color developing part consisting of a plurality of color combinations on a base is periodically formed on a color developing paper. The conductivity of an index part becomes higher than that of the color developing part, for instance, by forming fine conductive particles obtained by coating SnO2 on the surface of TiO2 as the index part. Thus a resistance is measured by a pair of needle electrodes to detect the location of the index part. The index part I is provided separately from the color developing part and may be formed at a position adjacent to the color developing part consisting of three primary colors of subtractive color process (yellow color developing part Y, magenta color developing part M and cyan color developing part C). The position of a write means on recording paper is correctly controlled and each color developing part develops color accurately in accordance with an image signal. In this way, multicolor recording, especially full color recording is possible.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an image which is efficient in light resistance and fastness, by a method wherein a material to be transferred is brought opposingly into contact with an ink layer prepared by dispersing charged coloring pigments into bonding agent to be fused by heating, the bonding agent is fused by heating, and the coloring pigment is transferred to the material to be transferred by impressing an electric field. CONSTITUTION:It is necessary that bonding agent is high in insulation property, is solidified and liquefied by heating or cooling, and has a suitable melting point or the like. As coloring agents, those which are known in public such as polyethylene, polyethylene glycol, etc. can be used. When the material to be transferred 1 is opposingly brought into contact with an ink layer 2 and they are heated with an electric heat sensitive head 3, bonding agents of the ink layer 2 of a heated part are fused. When power is applied between the electric heat sensitive head 3 and an electrode 4 under this state, charged coloring pigments 5 show electrophoretic behaviour to be sucked onto the material to be transferred 1 side. Imaging and printing by pigments will become possible by above-mentioned constitution, and the light resistance and fastness thereof will be efficient.

CONSTITUTION:The polishing powder 1 having the surface tension smaller than the surface tension of the magnetic coating compd. which is subjected to the surface treatment by the dispersant contg. the fluorinated org. material is compounded into the magnetic coated film 2. The polishing powder 1 subjected to the surface treatment by the dispersant contg. the fluorinated org. matter exists in the direction where the powder floats on the surface of the magnetic coated film 2 at the time of coating the magnetic coating compd. The density of the polishing powder 1 near the surface of the coated film 2 increases after the coated film cures. The surfaces of the polishing powder 1 itself are eventually exposed on the surface of the coated film 2 without being covered by the coated film 2. The magnetic characteristics, more particularly, the saturation magnetic flux density and squareness ratio are thereby improved.
