Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an intuitive interface in an information processor to which electronic apparatus is connected. SOLUTION: A fingerprint sensor 11 is installed on the surface of the casing of a USB memory 1. It is necessary for a user to make the USB memory 1 collate the fingerprint in using the USB memory 1 as a storage medium outside a personal computer. When the USB memory 1 is inserted, an icon showing a drive in such a state that a removable disk is not inserted is displayed in the personal computer. When authentication performed by the USB memory 1 succeeds, information relating to a file stored in an internal flash memory is reported from the USB memory 1 to the personal computer, and the icon showing the file is displayed in the personal computer. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for an authentication station in encipher communication, using public key cryptography. SOLUTION: These communication equipment, communication system, communicating method and authenticating device are provided with a cryptographic key preparing means which prepares a 1st pair of cryptographic keys, a cryptographic key exchanging means which exchanges one of the 1st cryptographic keys of the 1st prepared cryptographic key pair with one of 1st cryptographic keys of a 1st cryptographic key pair in 1st cryptography, which is prepared in the opposite communication side in secrecy, and an encipher communicating means which enciphers information by using the 1st cryptographic key of the opposite communication side obtained by the exchange and transmits the information to the opposite communication side.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform individual authentication completely independently of external equipment by completing authentication work by another authentication method even when fingerprint authentication cannot be used. SOLUTION: This detachable storage device has: a fingerprint sensor 10; a memory 13 having a secure area B; an authentication part 27 having a fingerprint recognition engine 30 comparing a fingerprint template and a fingerprint read by the fingerprint sensor 10, and authenticating whether they match or not, a character recognition engine 31 comparing a character/symbol template and character/symbol information drawn on the fingerprint sensor 10, and authenticating whether they match or not, and a signature recognition engine 32 comparing a signature template and signature information drawn on the fingerprint sensor 10, and authenticating whether they match or not; and an authentication control part 28 performing control to change over each the engine of the authentication part 27. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the phase deviation of a reproducing clock signal in a data area on demand. SOLUTION: The clock signal CKL synchronized with clock pits of a disk 11 is generated in a PLL(phase-locked loop) circuit 52 and plural clock signals CK1-CKm are obtained by successively delaying the clock signal CKL every fixed time in a phase delaying circuit 53. After the reproduced signal SMO of the data area of the disk 11 is subjected o the waveform equalizing processing of a PR(partial response), it is converted into a digital signal by using a reproducing clock signal WCK in an A/D converter 42. Signal sampled values yn being output data of the coverter 42 are supplied to a phase deviation detecting circuit 55 and the phase deviation value Δτn from the optimum reproducing clock signal of the clock signal WCK is detected from the signal sampled values and ternary data decision values. Then, the reproducing clock signal WCK synchronized with the reproduced signal SMO by controlling the tacking out of a clock signal in a clock selection circuit 54 so that the phase deviation value Δτn becomes zero.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adopt a two-group constituted lens system in spite of a video camera, to simplify constitution, and to make the camera small in size and light in weight. SOLUTION: As to the autofocusing operation of the so-called two-group constituted lens system; a microcomputer 6 arimthmetically calculates the positions of a first lens group 2 and a second lens group 3 from data related to each zoom magnification of a zoom position memory 7, data related to each object distance of a focusing position memory 8, and a zoom tracking curve 1, and each lens group is moved, so that the high band frequency component of a video signal becomes maximum.

SOLUTION: By this file lock/unlocking program, a computer is functioned as a header information addition means which adds a plurality of pieces of file locking information used for locking an electronic file and first hash values for hashing a plurality of pieces of file locking information to a compressed electronic file as header information, and as a file locking means adding group ID information for identifying a group to which the file locking/unlocking program required in file unlocking time belongs as file locking information and applying file locking by which the use of the compressed electronic file is restricted by updating the first hash values by hashing a plurality of file locking information including the group ID information.
