Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture capturing device that surely captures image data of a desired frame. SOLUTION: An image data capturing means 110 of the moving picture capturing device 100 receives an optional moving picture data stream. An image data storage means 120 sequentially store image data of the received moving picture data stream under the control of an image data control means 130. Furthermore, a display signal generating means 150 generates a display signal to display a frame image based on the captured image data, a monitor 300 sequentially displays the display signal and a moving picture is reproduced. When a user uses an operation entry means 140 to operate for instruction of extraction of an optional frame, the image data control means 130 detecting the operation extracts the image data of the frame whose capturing is instructed from the image data storage means 120 and an output signal generating means 160 generates an output signal to print out the image data. The output signal is fed to a printer 500, which prints out the image of the frame.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for audio/video streaming in which a server transmits a network an audio/video stream to a client device via a network. SOLUTION: The client device transmits command data to the server via the network and causes the server to change a content of the audio/video stream from a first content to a second content. Buffers of the server and client device can be flushed or skipped at the time of transmitting the command data so that a response time can be improved and marker data can be transmitted from the server to the client device to indicate the start of the second content. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a delay of data transmission. SOLUTION: A receiving unit 252b receives streaming data transmitted from a server via a network, and a buffer 255 temporarily accumulates and then outputs the received streaming data. A control unit 251 detects whether or not a switching request of the streaming data is operated by a user, and a reproduction speed control unit 256 controls an output speed in the buffer 255 and controls a reproduction speed of the accumulated streaming data so as to fast forward the streaming data accumulated in the buffer 255 when it is detected by the control unit 251 that the operation is performed, thereby reducing the delay of data transmission. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print by a printer when many different kinds of controllers are connected on one bus. SOLUTION: While an STB 2 of a different kind, a desktop PC 3 and a portable PC 4 are connected on the IEEE 1394 serial bus 1A, in the case where screen data are outputted from the STB 2 to the AV/C printer 5, and at the same time PDL data are outputted from the desktop PC 3 to the AV/C printer 5, a type of data inputted to the AV/C printer 5 is judged by the printer. The data are printed after converted to PDL data interpretable by the AV/C printer 5 even if the data are PDL data not conforming to the AV/C printer.
