SOLUTION: The rotating drum device disposed with a rotator provided with a balance adjusting means at two upper and lower points of a drum shaft is provided with the sheet metal-like balancing plate 25 having spring characteristics in such a manner that the balance ball housing sections 26 are disposed between the rotator and the rotating surface of a motor rotor case 7 as the balance adjusting mechanism on the lower side of the shaft. The device is formed with slit groove-like ball guide grooves 28 having ball locking sections 30 along the outer peripheral part of the plate and deformation absorption grooves 31 between the adjacent grooves 28. The balance adjustment of the motor on the lower shaft is adapted to pinch and hold the balancing balls 32 inserted into the housing sections 26 through the windows opened to a stationary side drum by means of the rotating surface of the case 7 and the sections 30 of the balancing plate 25.
