Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify constitution and to lower a cost by supplying correction signals for correcting the landing of an electronic beam at the time of scanning to a coil for degaussing magnetic members inside and outside a tube body. CONSTITUTION:In order to degausse the magnetic members inside and outside the tube body, the changeover switch 21 of a switching device 7 is operated, input terminals 10 and 11 and output terminals 8 and 9 are connected and an AC current is made flow to the coil 5. Thus, a clamping alternating magnetic field is generated from the coil 5 and the magnetic member such as a color selection mechanism or the like for instance is degaussed. On the other hand, in order to correct the landing of the electronic beam, the changeover switch 21 of the switching device 7 is operated, the other input terminals 12 and 13 and the output terminals 8 and 9 are connected and the coil 5 is connected to a signal generator 17. Then, various signals are supplied from the signal generator 17 to the coil 5 corresponding to the state of the mislanding of the electronic beam and a magnetic field for cancelling the mislanding is generated from the coil 5.

PURPOSE:To enhance brightness on a fluorescent screen of a color cathode-ray tube. CONSTITUTION:In a color cathode-ray tube such that light absorbing layers 3 are provided between respective color phosphor layers 2R, 2G, and 2B on a fluorescent screen, light reflecting walls 11 are mounted on the light absorbing layers 3 such that its width being smaller than that of the light absorbing layers 3 and its height being higher than the thickness of respective color phosphor layers 2R, 2G, and 2B, and respective color phosphor layers 2R, 2G, and 2B are formed between the light reflecting walls 11.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the shielding effect of both an inner magnetic shield and an inner beam shield by aligning the joint end of the inner magnetic shield with the joint end of the inner beam shield, and specifying an angle formed with the two shields. CONSTITUTION:An inner beam shield 15 and an inner magnetic shield 16 are welded to each other in such a way as keeping the bent sections thereof aligned with each other. In mounting the shields 15 and 16 on a mask 4, an angle formed therewith is specified at a value between 85 and 90 degrees. According to this construction, an overscan beam 11 is first reflected with the inner beam shield 15 and further reflected with the inner magnetic shield 16, thus traveling in a direction opposite to the mask 4. Consequently, the beam 11 does not reach a phosphor screen and the deterioration of color purity can be prevented.

PURPOSE:To obtain the cathode ray tube in which a picture rotation due to an external magnetic field such as the earth magnetism is suppressed by generating a magnetic field in a reverse direction to a direction of an external magnetic field perpendicular to a tube face at the outside of a cathode ray tube body. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic field generating means, that is, a ring shaped side rotation correction coil 13 generating a magnetic field in a direction opposite to a direction of an external magnetic field in the perpendicular direction to a tube face, that is, a horizontal earth magnetism component is arranged at the outside of a funnel section of a tube body 1, especially at a position between a deflection yoke 6 and an anode button 8 so that the coil face is in parallel with a panel face (so-called screen). A longitudinally long coil is used for a pattern rotation correction coil 13. The pattern rotation is suppressed by arranging the longitudinally long pattern rotation correction coil 13 to attain landing correction near an upper and lower end of the screen at the correction of landing of an electron beam thereby improving be quality of the screen. Moreover, when the screen rotation is corrected, picture distortion as the side effect of the correction such as mis-convergence is not much observed.

CONSTITUTION:A light reflecting layer 11 is formed on carbon stripes 3 located among different colored phosphor stripes 2R, 2G and 2B. A color selection filter film 12 made from e.g. pigments is formed on the light reflecting layer 11.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a fluorescent screen for a high quality color cathode-ray tube in which brightness and color purity are enhanced by selectively forming light reflecting layers on light absorbing layers between adjoining color fluorescent material layers. CONSTITUTION:By forming a light absorbing layer 3 and respective color fluorescent material layers 2 (2R, 2G, 2B) on a panel 1, and by selectively forming light reflecting layers 12 on light absorbing layers 3 between the adjoining color fluorescent material layers 2, fluorescent material layers 2R, 2G, 2B can be set in optimum widths relative to the light reflecting layers 12, further they are formed substantially between light reflecting layers 12, so that a light advancing crosswise in the fluorescent material layers 2R, 2G, 2B is reflected on the side of the light reflecting layers 12 and is radiated ahead of a panel front. Thus, its brightness, as well as its color purity, can be improved.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simulate parallax image printed matter before printing. SOLUTION: A "Show Red Region"-mode processing section 143 performs processing for displaying a part determined to move too much in red. A "Virtual Hologram"-mode processing section 144 performs processing for continuously displaying an image formed by putting a plurality of frames one over other. Those two modes are modes for performing simulation when parallax image printed matter is created. When a simulation result is not desirable, processing for decreasing the number of frames etc., is carried out. Whereby, brightness can be enhanced and color purity can be increased.
