    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the number of high-voltage and medium-voltage cables by building a division resistor in a cathode-ray tube. CONSTITUTION:The resistive body 12 of a division resistor for supplying voltage to an electron gun within a cathode-ray tube is arranged in a ceramic base board 11, on which the coat glass 13 of an overcoat is arranged and baked, and built in within the cathode-ray tube. Therefore, as compared with the case of being mounted outside, the division resistor can be reduced to simplify the external circuit arrangement of the cathode-ray tube and to reduce the number of a high-voltage and a medium-voltage cable. Incidentally, a similar effect can be obtained with a part of the division resistor built in.
