Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power loss using a simple constitution, and moreover to realize downsizing and cost reduction. SOLUTION: For a power unit, first, second, and third capacitor 11, 12, and 13 for potential division of three pieces, which are selected in prescribed capacities, are connected in series between AC power lines, and rectifying diodes 14, 15, 16, and 17, where the reverse properties of two pieces of diodes 14 and 15 on the side of negative terminals are regulated to prescribed Zener voltages, are connected in parallel with the third capacitor 12 arranged at the center, and a capacitor 18 for filtering is connected between the positive (+) terminals and the negative (-) terminals of these rectifying bridges 14, 15, 16, and 17. Hereby, this power unit can yield a DC output voltage stably, without using a three-terminal regulators, after dividing the AC input voltage from the power input terminal into the desired voltage in insulated condition, and also this can absorb the noise occurring on the input side or the noise occurring on output side.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce consuming power during standby at a control circuit for remote control by providing a main power supply circuit part which supplies voltage from an AC power source and takes an operative condition, and a control circuit part for remote control which selectively-takes an operating condition or an inoperative condition according to a remote control signal at a main power supply circuit part. SOLUTION: A commander delivers a remote control signal from an electric wave signal delivery part with a control unit according to the operation for an operation part to obtain a condition where the remote control signal is delivered from an infrared signal delivering part. The first control circuit part 25 is connected to an AC power supply connection part 21 through a main power switch 22, and the second control part 26 is connected through the main power switch 22 and a kick-off circuit part 23. A main power supply circuit part 30 is connected through a voltage supply control part 28 included in the main power switch 22 and the first control circuit part 25. It is thus possible to significantly-reduce the consuming power during standby at the control circuit part for remote control and keep it very small.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply unit of an electronic apparatus which reduces consumption of power in standby. SOLUTION: A commercial power source is connected with a common filter 104 trough a main fuse 102 and a main switch 103, and supplied from a rectifier circuit 108 to a main power supply 140 constituted of a switching power supply or the like. Various kinds of voltage formed in the main power supply unit 140 are supplied to a device 150 of the electronic apparatus main body. A voltage dividing means 130 is installed in the commercial power source line, and three capacitors 131 (a, b, c) for dividing the voltage are connected in series with the power source line. An AC voltage between both terminals of the second capacitor 131b is supplied to a rectifier circuit 112 in bridge constitution, supplied to a voltage regulator 114 through a filter capacitor 113, and turns to a driving source operating a control circuit 120 of the electric apparatus. The control circuit 120 is provided with a transistor 124 driving a relay coil 122 for operating a relay switch 121 for switching control of the main power source line, an LED driving circuit 125 for display, a light receiving part 126 receiving infrared radiation, a microcomputer 127, etc., and operated when the electronic apparatus is in standby.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable detection voltage level even in a case of intermittently applying abnormal voltage by setting, at least, a pair of electrodes formed on an insulating substrate via a gap to have such characteristics as disappearing partially by discharge in applying the abnormal voltage and restoring by itself. SOLUTION: When an abnormal voltage is applied on a pair of electrodes 3, 4 formed on an insulating substrate 1 via a gap 2, discharge is started in a part having the lowest resistance value between the electrodes 3, 4. When the abnormal voltage disappears in the electrodes of discharging, for example, a1, a2 simultaneously with the discharge, the electrodes in the part having the lowest resistance value, for example b1, b2 start, discharge and disappear simultaneously with the discharge. On and after the third abnormal voltage, the same is repeated and in each case, the electrodes return to their original states after application of the abnormal voltage by the self restoration action. This constitution can protect the circuit components by connecting the circuits, which are easily affected by external surge voltage, etc., in parallel.

SOLUTION: A remote control signal containing a power supply signal from a remote controller is received in a photoreceptor 11. A power saving-type preamplifier 12 and an AGC circuit 13, which are power-fed by an auxiliary power source 23, amplify the remote control signal to be constant and it is supplied to a detection circuit 15 to which power is fed by the auxiliary power source 23. When the detection circuit 15 detects the existence of the remote control signal, the auxiliary power source 23 is changed to a main power source 25. Power is fed to a carrier selector 14 with the rise of power voltage and it is inserted between signal routes. When the carrier selector 14 detects the power supply signal from the remote controller, power feeding from the main power source 25 is maintained. Three voltages of the auxiliary power source 23 are lower than five volts of the main power source 25. The circuits are made into IC.
