Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the remote controller for selecting a function corresponding to the skill degree of a user. CONSTITUTION:A display part is formed in the shape of a matrix from symbols A1-A5 to symbols G1-G5, when that display part is touched, that touch is detected and corresponding to the touch detected result, low-level, middle-level and high-level functions are selected. Then, corresponding to the detected class, the display part formed in the shape of the matrix displays a control function adaptive for that class. The function of a control part is changed corresponding to this display as well and when a part showing the displayed function is touched, the function selected by that touch is selected.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the mounting of an external equipment without requiring special knowledge. CONSTITUTION:A mounting part 5 is formed by providing a recessed part 2 on the upper part of a television receiver 1, grooves 4 on the both-sided surfaces and a terminal group 3 on the bottom surface. The coupling part 7 provided on the bottom part of an external equipment 6 is mounted on this mounting part 5. The both-sided surfaces of the coupling part 7 are provided with guides 8. These guides 8 are engaged to the grooves 4 and the coupling part 7 is exactly mounted on the mounting part 5. The terminal group 3 and 9 are connected and the transmission/reception of a signal is performed.
