Switching means responsive to an opening movement of the liquid crystal display from a closed position is used to automatically and smoothly switch off the viewfinder, switch on the liquid crystal display and to enable a speaker. The liquid crystal display is also used as a cover for relatively infrequently used setting switches and controls.

Then a slider 9 covering the contact is provided freely opening/closing and the mount 6 of the 1st connector 1 is inserted and skided between the mount face 18 of the 2nd connector 2 and a support section 22a to allow the contact of the 1st connector 1 and the 2nd contact of the 2nd connector 2 are in contact with each other to obtain an electronic contact.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install a battery pack to a device either in embedded form or outside mounting, prevent generation of a short-circuitting accident, and achieve compactness. SOLUTION: Recessed grooves and round shoulder parts are formed on a back wall part of a battery pack 1 to prevent reverse insertion mistake for the surface/back side and the front/rear side. Recessed grooves of pawls for outside mount are provided on both side wall parts, and recessed holes 13 in which terminals 26 on the side of a device 21 are inserted are provided on an end surface part 12, so the terminals 26 are held by springs provided in the recessed holes 13. As the pawls for outside mount are engaged with lock pins provided on the device 21, the recessed holes 13 in the end surface part 12 face the terminals 26 on the device 21, thereby installation direction mistakes can be prevented.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the movement of a mounting member so as to prevent the easy removal of a second device from a first device by providing the end of a part to be held on the side to be inserted with a holding member with a stopper to prohibit the movement of the holding member. SOLUTION: A housing part 18 enclosed by a pair of front surface plates 17c, a pair of flank plates 17b and a base piece 17a is formed on an accessory shoe 17. The fixing plate of the mounting member disposed at the second device is inserted into this housing part 18 and a lock screw for fixing the fixing plate is inserted into the spacing between a pair of the front surface plates 17c. Further, the respective front surface plates 17c of the accessory shoe 17 are bent at one end in their longitudinal direction toward the base piece 17a side, by which stopper pieces 17d as stoppers are formed. As a result, the occurrence a drop accident by the removal of the second device is prevented even in such a case the accessory shoe 17 is loosened by the vibration, impact force, etc., of the first device.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a battery housing device in which both a primary battery and a secondary battery can be properly used without using a dry battery adaptor. CONSTITUTION: A battery housing device 1 is formed of a case type device body 10 capable of separately housing six AA dry batteries 30 as a primary battery and a rectangular parallelepiped battery charger 40 as a secondary battery through an opening part 10a; and a lid body 20 for opening and closing the opening part 10a of the device body 10. Battery connecting terminals 16, 17, 18 being in contact with the terminals 31, 32, 41, 42 of each battery 30, 40 are separately provided in prescribed positions within the device body 10. Each rib 25 for preventing the dropping-out of the battery charger is integrally molded on the inner surface of the lid body 20. Thus, this device is so convenient that both the dry battery 30 and the battery charger 40 can be separately used within one battery housing device 1 without preparing a dry battery adaptor. The battery housing space of the device body 10 can be also saved.

CONSTITUTION:A video camera main body 2 which uses an internally loaded video tape to record and reproduce the picture of an object, a lens part 3 provided in the front of this main body 2, a sound collecting microphone 4, a battery 5 freely detachably set to the rear part or the main body 2, and an EVF (view finder) 6 where the reproduced picture of the video tape for confirmation of the picked-up image of the object is displayed and which is freely turnably attached for the purpose of watching this picture are provided. A freely open/ close large-sized color liquid crystal display device(LCD) 7 is provided on one side face of the main body 2. That is, this main body 2 is provided with the large-sized color LCD 7, on which the picture of the object and the reproduced picture of the video tape are selectively displayed, and is freely openably/ closably attached to the main body 2 through an open/close device 12 as an open/close means.
