Abstract: PURPOSE:To use a supporting device not only as a unipod but also as a tripod. CONSTITUTION:An upper leg piece 1 provided with a mounting surface 2a where a camera, etc., is fixed, a middle leg piece 5, and a lower leg piece 6 provided with a shoe surface 7 which touches with the ground are successively provided with joints 17 and 18 provided with inclining means and fixing means 19 and 20, respectively. The joint 18 is arranged at a specified angle to the joint 17. In order to set the device as the unipod, the legs are opened like a straight line by the joints 17 and 18 and fixed to be used as the unipod. In order to make it stand for itself, the leg piece 1 is opened at a specified angle to the leg piece 5 and fixed. The leg piece 1 is three-dimensionally arranged to be erected. The leg piece 6 is opened at a specified angle to the leg piece 5 and fixed. The leg pieces 6 and 5 are planarly arranged to support the leg piece 1 in an erect state. Therefore, the supporting device S is used not only as the unipod but also as the tripod, so that a different tripod is not necessitated and convenience of use is made excellent.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a tape guide member capable of maintaining the initial characteristics during long-term use by using nitrophenols represented by a specified general formula, alcohols and hydrochloric acid as the principal components of an etching soln. for treating the surface of a tape guide member. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a tape guide member is treated with an etching agent contg. nitrophenols represented by the formula (where each of R1, R2 and R3 is H or NO2, and one or more among them are NO2), alcohols and hydrochloric acid as the principal components. Thus, a tape guide member with high roundness and stable surface roughness such as a capstan is obtd. This member undergoes remarkably less intergranular corrosion than a member treated with an etching agent contg. ferric chloride as the principal component, and it shows favorable results in a brine spray test. Even if a tape is continuously run over a long time, the initial characteristics of this member can be maintained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To offer a supporting device for a camera and the like which stably supports even a heavy substance. When it is not used, the device is compactly housed because the respective leg pieces 1, 6 and 5 can be folded by the joints 17 and 18. Since the respective leg pieces 1, 6 and 5 are successively provided by the joints 17 and 18, the diameters of the respective leg pieces 1, 6 and 5 are made the same and strength is improved. Therefore, even when the heavy camera and the like is mounted, it is stably supported.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the frictional coefficient between a tape type recording medium and a head drum by fitting a metallic sleeve at the outer circumference part of a molded matter forming a center part of the drum and winding the tape type recording medium round the outer circumferential surface of said sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A composite molded matter 9 set at the center of a head drum contains a boss 1 at its center part and the boss 11 has a through hole 12 through which a support shaft is put. A sleeve 10 made of an aluminum alloy is fitted at the outer circumference part 13 of the matter 9. Both the sleeve 10 and the part 13 are unified together by press fitting or adhesion. Thus, the outer circumferential surface of the sleeve 10 is cut with high precision on the basis of the hole 12 of the boss 11 because the sleeve 10 is joined to the part 113 of the matter 9. Then, the prescribed dimensional accuracy is secured together with the prescribed form accuracy and the prescribed surface roughness. As a result, the rubbing performance is improved between the head drum and a magnetic tape.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To turn on/off an added adaptor to interlock with the operation state of a main body by providing the adaptor with a detection circuit for detecting the operation state of a video camera. CONSTITUTION:In the case of using a liquid crystal panel 38 constituting a color electronic view finder, the adaptor 28 is connected between the camera body 10 and a battery. An operation button 45 formed on the upper part of the camera body 10 is depressed to close a power supply switch and drive a VTR/camera circuit 46. Thereby a driving current passes a resistor 48 in the adaptor 28, which generates a voltage drop. The voltage drop is detected by the detection circuit 49. A switch circuit 50 is turned on in interlocking with the detection, a driving circuit 51 is driven and the panel 38 is driven by the circuit 51. When a finger is released from the button 45, the switch 44 is opened and no current flows into the resistor 48. Thereby the panel 38 is switched to a non-driven state.
